Scottish actor David Tennant is to take over from Christopher Eccleston as Doctor Who after the BBC One sci-fi drama made a successful comeback.

I think he makes a amazing dr. who Very cute and funny just what dr. who needs. He is a fabulous actor and has very stand out facial features which makes him even cuter thank he was in casanova.

Personaly I prefer Chris Eccleston but that's my opinion. I think he's doing realy well as the Doctor, although I thought he would be terrible, bring to much of the sexuality from casanova to dr.who, he brought a bit but it just added that little something to him.

Australia is still waiting for Mr Tennant, but if he's anywhere near as good as is Casanova, it'll be a riot!

David Tennant is a brill Doctor, funny, witty and really optimistic! He portrays the Doctor in a really good way, but thats not to say that Chris wasn't good, he he was unforgettable, just like David is now!

i think David Tennant has made a great docter and i think he should carry on he has made the programe great to watch but i really think billie should of carried on because they worked really well together and it will be hard to replace her but i hope in one of the next epesodes that Billie will come back and play the role as Rose once again because it would be such a great episode if they where toghter again in the future to come not to far thought lol!!!!(laugh out loud) I thinkd David and Billie and everyone one else are great and o cant wait too the christmas special.
