Get over it, he is a crook. There are alot of people who have screwed up and don't get any tears.

Misplaced empathy, Paul. Some who become highly accomplished think that they are special and can then bend the laws that apply to the rest of sad sacks.
Start thinking straight, instead of always looking for an angle to do an article! The man had MANY informed ways to make his choices! Perhaps he's not as smart as he once thought. |

Both Fumo and Madoff have no one to blame for their demise. They choose to do down their own path of destruction, thought they wouldn't get caught, and now it has bitten them in the butt. It's one thing to harm only yourself. I have no sympathy for swindlers who harm others or someone who thinks our laws do not include him. These two surely got what they deserved.
I appreciate the fact that there are people in law enforcement who do not get intimidated by the likes of Fumo and Madoff. |

Polite, articulate, educated, "nice" crooks are the most dangerous of the bunch. They destroy you and you thank them for their well-polished largesse. Thank you, President Obama, may I have another, sir, please, thank you my messiah.

I never thought I would say anything positive about a crook like Fumo, but I have found something to admire. His dislike of Paul Carpenter. His was wasted talent. You are just wasting space in this newspaper.

A wolf in sheeps clothing. A long list of illegal activities shows he learned the lessons well from his mentor, Cianfrani. Maybe now he can get the mentor's old cell.

So corrupt, vengeful politicians are OK as long as they are polite, articulate, and charming ?
This guy exemplifies the saying that "Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely". Like John Karoly, he thought he could get away with anything. For a while, yes; forever, no. Only differences between Fumo and Karoly are about 60 miles apart in distance and 6 months apart in time ! LOL ! Good riddance. We don't need any more of Fumo or his kind. Wasted talent, for sure. Too bad. |

at the end of the day. It is always the choices that we make not who or even what we do that has the impact.. Harrisburg that fine citadel of pseudo-intellectualism and greed needs fumigating..
We threw most of the bums that took the pay raises out.. But not all. Not enough for the lesson to be learned. Sadly this clown is just in a long of thieves and scammers that inhabit our State capital. How many more how long till we fumigate and place in Harrisburg the people that will do the job we sent them there to do? Sadly I think we will all be waiting a long time before we start to see that happen. |

I knew he was a snake oil salesman the minute I laid eyes on him.
