Charles Dickens
David Zucker (heart) Charles Dickens
Americans numbed by the daily barrage of politics-as-usual are about to be awakened by some new fireworks -- Hollywood -style. Imagine documentary filmmaker Michael Moore and director David Zucker in the center ...

The left wing (as represented by Michael Moore) is more patriotic than the lock-step, unquestioning right wing.
“Our country, right or wrong. When right, to be kept right; when wrong to be put right.” It is all American's patriotic duty to question their government. It is the media's job to investigate, not parrot the government. It was refreshing to see that some of the conservative journalists have cojones to admit that the Sarah Palin desperate choice was that of a politician, not someone who cares about the security (economic, defense) of America. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/09/16/cons... Where are your cojones, Kathleen? Is Sarah Palin the best person to lead our country? |

I love Zucker's work and also Michael Moore's. Zucker does not usually do overt political satire, generally spoofs society in general so I don't know how well I will like this if it is just an anti-left skewer.

Palin is a rookie in large scale leadership and has demonstrated very poor judgement in her conduct in the governor's office her short term thus far.(See Troopergate, dairygate, lack of boundaries between public and family life, and appointments of inexperienced cronies to importatnt positions. Even if you think she's a nice person, that is scary. Jimmy Carter, a much more worldly and experienced leader, messed things up by bringing in his Georgia Mafia to run the country and implementing an anti-Washington approach to government. Let's not make an even bigger mistake by putting Ms. Palin a 72 year old's heartbeat away from the presidency. |

I trust Sarah Palin too. Like totally trust her, dude. Trust her to continue lying until a grand jury makes her stop. Trust her to ignore subpoenas, trust her red-neck husband to do the same. Trust her under-aged children to keep pumping out little brats for the Easter egg-roll on the lawn. But mostly I trust her to keep up the proud tradition Dick Cheney began for us. We're broiled, London, face it. |

I hope the latest Kathleen Parker column makes the Sentinel.
http://townhall.com/columnists/KathleenParker... In it she admits, that Ms. Palin is ill-equipped to be VP and that McCain (and his machine) demonstrated poor decision making ability. |
