I was so shock and sad to see that Jack Wild my child
hood crush had passed away at age 53 yrs. so young to die. I remember having over 300 pictures of him on my bedroom room. I also saw his movie H.R. Pufnstuf,I also bought his album and was in his fan club.
I have fond memories of Jack Wild that I will cherish forever.

Thanks, Wendy Garcia(Reddeman)from California now Colorado

I loved jack - so bright eyed an innocent in oliver- but portrayed the street wise kid so well. A talent that will not come to fruition becos of dam alcohol, and the power that it can have. We know u are now performing in heaven buddie- even death couldnt stop a true entertainer.
We love you Jack- now and for ever!!

HOW VERY SAD THAT WE HAVE LOST JACK WILD, HE WAS A GREAT ENTERTAINER. IT'S SO AWFUL THAT YOUNG ACTORS ARE OVER LOOKED FOR FILM AND TELEVISION ROLES AS THEY GET OLDER.JACK HAD LOTS OF TALENT AND MANY FANS. IT IS THE FILM INDUSTRY'S LOSS THAT JACK DID'NT GET MORE ROLES.

My daughters adore Jack Wild. They are second generation Jack Wild fans which proves that Jack's talent and career has lasted over the years. At 40 I enjoyed falling in love with Jack all over again along with my daughters. My daughters adore his singing and his voice so we have collected every music CD, record and movie we could find with him acting, singing and dancing in it. May we keep Jack alive by sharing him with generations to come. As devoted fans, we owe it to him for giving us the best years and memories of our childhood and of our children's childhood. May he sing and dance with the angels for eternity. God bless you Jack! We love you!!

I have so many fond memories of Jack Wild growing up as a young girl. I wall papered my room with his pictures from Tiger Beat magazine. He was certainly my very first crush. I was 10 when the movie "Oliver" first came to the theatre. I was in the 4th grade and we went on a class trip to see it. After that, I was hooked on Jack. I still can't believe he's gone. I will always have the best memories of him and how he made me feel growing up, he will never be forgotten.
I love you Jack.
God Bless Claire, my heart goes out to her at this sad time. I can't wait to read his book.

You won't be forgotten, by no means. As I'm only 15, I still remember the first time I popped that Oliver! movie into my video player for the first time at the age of 10. My love for him is as strong as ever now, and I give my sincerest condolences to Claire.

You filthy, magnificent man.

Rest In Peace, Jack Wild. ♥

Fell in love with Jack Wild when I was a kid of nine.1970. In 1974 wrote him a letter and told him how much he meant to me when I was growing up. He wrote me a letter and sent me his picture. In 1999 I has a house fire which destroyed them. I was hopeing to travel to london in 2007 and see while I was there if I could have a moment of his time. when I heard of his death I was devistated. Still am.A little piece of me died that day. I will always be grieving for him. Life is not fair. My sincere condolances to claire. I hope she knows there are alot of us still grieving with her.

I did not know him at first, but when I saw his movie, there was something that caught my eye. There was something sweet about him, something you don`t find in men all that much. So when I check his name on the internet I found out that he pass away. I was shocked and I wanted to know how he had died. I printed something off the internet about him and was reading something that Mark Lester said. He said that Jack was always so protective during the making of the movie, Ron Moody said he was never rude. I know him know. I know how everyone feels. I just wish I could have known him better. Rest in peace Jack and don`t forget that you are always loved.
