For director Robert Zemeckis, it was never a question of getting carried away. While Jim Carrey plays a number of roles in "Disney's A Christmas Carol," the adaptation of the 1843 novella written by Charles Dickens, for Zemeckis, the goal was to find the emotional depth in the classic story.

Carey, he still making movies, when was his last good one '96? And the imagination to bring this story to the picture show, only been done about 20X b4@!!!! Carey gets $25million for this wow no wonder popcorn is about $12 a box! Bahh Humbug!

Oh, bullflop. The purpose of this movie is to make a lot of money by retelling a familiar story with way cool digital special effects.(Although if "Polar Express" and the trailer for this are any example, the picture looks kind of runny, like it's been left out in the rain.)

You want to "find the emotional depth in the classic story"...uh, how about reading the book?
