If you know your history you should also know he risked his career and life marching arm in arm with Martin Luther King in the sixties, he stood for his principles without apology,,,, not bad for a homo Phobe huh
no, not bad and there's room for more wisdom...at least you're on the right track!

Charlton Heston was a brilliant, great man who did more in his lifetime than you can even imagine, much less do. Calling him an old fool makes you look just like one yourself. It takes an illogical person to blame him and those who support the right to bear arms for crimes committed by criminals. Why don't you blame those who committed those crimes instead of an innocent person? Do you really suppose gun control will stop the circulation of guns within the criminal community? If you truly do, you live in that dream world you mentioned.

FYI, firearms have always been a part of our history. What do you think the pioneers used to hunt food? There's nothing wrong with firearms; the problems lies with the criminal who has one, so why don't you spend your time doing something about the criminals instead of wasting it putting down innocent people?

It's a vile and horrid person who believes that a firearm - an instrument designed ONLY to take life - could be part of his "history" or "heritage."
And to say this the very week that families mourned the deaths of their children at Columbine was the most callous act done in a generation in this country.
Charelton Heston never had a child die from a gunshot wound. Had that been the case, maybe the old fool would have realized his own humaity and known that killing is wrong.
Instead, he lived the fantasy world of a fool who confused real life with the silly films he made.

Right now Charlton Heston is in the presence of the God he served. You probably won't be so fortunate.

You have no sense of decency. Unlike you, Charlton Heston was a great man.

How do you think this country came to be? Guns.
How do you think this country was stitched together through Civil War? Guns.
How do you think we will survive post-globalization? Guns.
Just because some sick creep wants to mow down a few of his classmates shouldn't affect the protective means of law abiding citizens.
I've heard of people mowing down and killing or maiming dozens of people with their automobiles. Do you want to ban automobiles also?

You said it well. He, as his son stated, was a fine man.

You are right on the money. Heston was a great actor and a REAL MAN on and off screen. He did great work and now all the greats are gone and we are left with non-actors with empty heads.

He said wrong. Read the Second Amendmant some time. It gives states the right to form militias, not individuals the right to bear arms in a private capacity.
Do you know what a ******* comma is? If you don't like guns,*try* to amend the constitution to get rid of them - don't bastardize the current amendment. The tree of liberty thirsts, I actually want people like you to try. A century of softness and leftism has taken its toll on society.
