You were a kind, gentle, and loving man. You brought so much joy to us all who knew you, & had such a great comedic presence on and off screen. To all who read this, please live your life to the fullest, be kind to each other, do something nice for someone special in your life, or even someone you do not know. The power of love, kindness, & laughter are some of our greatest gifts that we can share with each other. If we all did this at least once a day, the world would be a better place! Oh yea, & don't forget to smile!:) Thank you for all the laughs & memories "briK", we shall meet again, J.C.

Mr. Kirby, just wanted to let you know out there in the heavens that you were a master at your craft and a total joy to watch. I always knew you were a very sweet and kind man just by the way you carried yourself on and off the screen. I look forward to collecting the rest of your films and they will remain in my permanent collection. God bless you and keep you.

You were a great movie actor and you created memorable moments in spinal tap, the freshman and most notably in when harry met sally and city slickers -- those films simply would not have worked without your integrity aznd truth . I will miss your work.God bless you , Mr Kirby.

One of the ones that made you feel alive when you watched him on the screen. It was something in that smile of his that made me smile along with him, even when his character was full of himself and cocky you just couldn't hate him. I love him in "City Slickers" and he and Billy Crystal were born to act together, you could feel it. My heart goes out to his family and all who knew him.

To whom it may concern - My condolences to the Kirby family. Long may Bruno's legacy live on. I realize I'm 4 mos. late in sending any condolence message about Mr. Kirby's death. I wasn't sure where to look, but I hope someone in the family will relate this to the Kirby family. God bless you in this time of sorrow.

Far and a way his best role, and ALL were brilliant, was the over-zealous, self-centered, super- conservative, and totally out of touch Lieutenant in "HELLO VIET NAM!" He owned that roll, he NAILED it as NO ONE ever could or will. I shall cherish his memory.
