maybe at some point he had issues with domestic violence but at the end he certainly was working to help at least one org that assists victims of domestic violence.

I remember a line in a Springsteen song "...when The Big Man came to town..." Or something like that. And Clarence wailed on his sax right after those words were delivered as though he was answering the singer. I thought that was pretty cool.

But then came a time (not so long ago actually) Springsteen began interjecting politics into his act. I regretted being a Springsteen fan at that moment and realized that I don't care for entertainers who polarize and turn people against each other.

"...he could still rile a stadium crowd with a few cheerful notes on his horn."

I was taught saxophones are not horns. They are woodwinds.

Clarence Clemons, who played saxophone with Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band, was in jail Saturday on charges he punched and kicked his girlfriend at a vacation home in the Florida Keys.

Clemons, 54, was arrested by Palm Beach County deputies at his Riviera Beach home Friday night and jailed without bond on a domestic battery warrant out of the Keys' Monroe County. He faces a court appearance there Monday.

So do you share everyone's criminal record and mistakes when they die?
You probably protest at funerals of those Americans who die in combat overseas.

No Im not saying its untrue. Im saying its not the appropriate time for it. The dude is dead. He did his time when he was alive for the crime. Move on. This is a time to celebrate his music and the good in his life.
You need to learn what is and what is not appropriate apparently.

what matters more is that here we are 13 or 14 years later and he was helping agencies that provide services to victims of domestic violence. He learned, he grew, and now may he have peace in the next life.

I'm proud to say, I watch the E Street Band and the Big Man as they played the last 3 nights in Giants Stadium, being a transplant from Ohio and living in Jersey, this man could entertain a Rock & Roll crowd for an entire night. The E Street Band won't ever be the same. Rest In Peace Mr. Clemons!

Keep your idiot comments to yourself let by gones be bygones. This article is to give big respect to a man who played his heart out to wherevever he went with Brooooos and will surely be missed if there is ever another Brooos concert or NOT. Clarence played a very BIG part in the band infact the 3rd leading member of the band after brooos and Max. Clarence will always have my respect . R I P my freind

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Scorpio

You're in the mood to spend money on a favourite hobby or pastime today, so take care if you're supposed to making every penny count at the moment. The temptation to treat yourself to something that you'll undoubtedly enjoy will be too strong to resist, and the trouble is that you might not restrict yourself to just one item either. It looks like being an extravagant day!
