You are one dumb Progressive Liberal as most are !
Not if they involve pulling someone off the stage.....

That's NOT a free speech issue.... it's a LABOR issue... you know employer/employee?

<quoted text>What is difficult for you to comprehend ? You must have a learning disability. I am all for free speech. The employer does have the right to fire an employee if they do not like his work. That is their right. Would I like to hear the rest of his jokes ? Absolutely. Quit attempting the GOTCHA game and pay attention and you will not have to apologize for low intellect.
Again, being such a staunch free speech advocate, you must be livid at those "politically correct," namby pamby Republican bigwigs for pulling that comic off stage in the middle of his routine and then saying to the press later that the comic went beyond their conception of free speech.

This has nothing to do with the comic's speech rights or the Republican Leadership Conference's right to stifle his speech in that venue, mind you.

It has to do with the "political correctness" of those spineless, easily spooked Republicans in abridging such a harmless comedy routine, which was apparently both racist in the Republican mold and making fun of Republicans, which is not in the Republican mold to do.

(In other words, Republican double standards are being heartily mocked, but you're unable to or unwilling to figure that out. You know, like talibangelicals are unable or unwilling to figure out that the earth is older than 10,000 years. smirk)

Possibly if it was a physical act, then he could have called the police. Doubt that it was physical.

With the impersonator there, it probably doubled the number of non whites who were there.

Did any of you actually notice that he wasn't pulled from the stage until after he started making jokes about republicans?

<quoted text>Oh, short term memory loss ? Wounded Warriors still would appreciate your $1000.00 for your lost wager concerning scum bag Weiner being a 2 day news story. How could you possibly forget ?
Keep on trucking !
Ha ha.

I'm sure Wounded Warriors is a fine organization, but they'll have to do without the $1000. I ain't got it to send them.

I admitted I was wrong about Weiner. And I probably should've nipped the wager talk in the bud as you ran with it. But I never really intended a bet-- it was a figure of speech, as is any reference to wagering on an anonymous chat board... or so I assumed.

But I'm glad to have given you a little bit of shade-- I imagine it's been a treat to think you've actually got me cornered on an issue!

Of course! When he was making Obama jokes they thought him a genius. I thought the repub jokes were funny, and wanted to hear more, but they put an end to it. they claimed it was "his racial jokes were offensive" yet they let him go on for 10 minutes of racial jokes and nary a word of complaint. It was when he turned to weird republicans that they big fatso waddled out and hustled him away. It reminded me of the TV show "Cops" when a big white sheriff grabs a black guy who is misbehaving.

Naw, I figured you stepped into it with your support for the scum bag and would play with it for awhile. I will always believe the worst of any politician until proven otherwise.

Touchy, aren't we? Actually, I am American, though I am debating whether or not to stay so after gaining my Canadian citizenship.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Aries

It won't be long before you start to feel bored today, unless you can distract yourself - you're switching from one activity to another. Ideally, you should keep yourself amused by doing something that's unusual or challenging, otherwise you'll be tempted to stir up trouble just to see what happens next! Even though you know that's a bad idea, you won't be able to resist, unless you've got something better to do with your time.
