And Bruce Springsteen is an expert in poverty....when?

Love his music, his liberal politics are, well, typical....

"...I got mine, now you pay for him".

You go back to singing, Mr. Springsteen and leave the politics to people that know what it costs to buy a gallon of milk or gasoline.

Hey, numbnuts! If you aren't from the coverage area of this newspaper, The Asbury Park Press, or even from New Jersey, shut the F up. You have no f-ing clue about Springsteen's lower-middle class upbringing and how it still affects him. He is constantly donating time and money to our communities as well as necessary things like firetrucks for volunteer fire department. He is always around our towns and graciously either jumps on a local bar stage to jam and always gives autographs with a smile.

Go steep yourself, you teabagging a-hole.

I love Springsteen and know he donates a lot of time and money to causes he feels good about. The issue is what are these people doing about their own lives. The Government is broke. Things have to change. It's time to get people to understand that it's their own decisions that affect their lives. Time to get people saying to themselves "What am I gonna do about my own situation" and not "What is the government gonna do about me"

This is coming from someone with "Disband all public unions?" in their profile?

And you're accusing Springsteen of not knowing what it's like to be a struggling worker? You're the LAST person who should talk. You're the type of person who's targeting these people and making their lives even harder than they already are.

Sounds like you're just jealous of Springsteen, because he's talent and confident and secure with himself enough to have a backbone, whereas you Tea Party people have no idea what the hell you're talking about most of the time. From what I've witnessed, and the rest of the country is witnessing, all of your Tea Party's extremist messages contradict each other. That's because you talk out of your ass and live in a meanspirited fairy land. After all, Minnesota isn't exactly known as a state that has the brightest crayons in the box. Your state produced Michelle Bachmann, after all.

Why don't you go back into your small little world and leave all of us big thinkers alone.

Minnesota?

Isn't that pretty much considered the dumbest state in the US?

Guys guys, let's look at where these opinions are coming from. It's not even worth responding to this middle american trailer trash. Minnesota hasn't even come close to having the prominence that NJ has. New Jersey has produced so much of our country's talent in every field, from lightbulbs to famous actors to top musicians.

What the hell has Minnesota spawned? Cows?

HA HA!! Minnesota???

Seriously, get the hell out of here. Minnesota isn't playing in the big leagues. Jerseyans would laugh you out of their state. That's like a Utahan trying to talk about California issues. Or a Nebraskan discussing New York. Or Toby Keith discussing Madonna. Or Kim Kardashian talking about Meryl Streep.

Housewives omg talk about trash. This is all people see of Jersey. We don't hear of the Boss' great work just the trash show you keep feeding the public.

Well maybe if the idiots in Middle America didn't watch these shows, there wouldn't be a demand for them. And those are all New Yorkers (in Real Housewives and Jersey Shore, they've all relocated from either New York and other parts of the country). Once again, Minnesota teabaggers believing everything they see and hear.

I unfortunately used to live in dirty New Jersey. Most of the people are fat loudmouths who do not know who their real fathers are. They also have terrible body odor. Being from New Jersey is nothing to be proud of (New York either)!

Ever heard of a guy by the name of Bob Dylan? Without him Bruce Springsteen wouldn't even exist. And you can keep your famous actors from Jersey like 'Snooki'. They only add to that hole of a town. Scum central in Jersey.

There you go assuming I am a teabagger because of where I live and that I said something you don't like. No need to watch the show they are advertising the crap so much and they are on the news enough to know it's crap. I to have been to New Jersey gross.

No, we're assuming you're a teabagger because you buy into that BS bootstrapping, individualistic Americana garbage, which just like Christianity, is a crock of bull being served up to the masses, because they fall for it.

Yes, it is true to a point. I'm a business owner myself, so I certainly agree that people shouldn't depend on others for everything, and have a responsibility to be responsible for themselves. But you guys take it to an extreme. There are plenty of hard workers who are struggling to make ends meet and this isn't an anarchy -- we have a government for a reason. Many of the teabaggers complain that they hate government programs and don't want to help anyone else out by paying into them, but most make use of these programs themselves and when asked if they would give it up, say they won't. It's hypocrisy at it's finest. This is why I don't believe a word that comes out of their mouths. They just repeat what they hear and don't understand logic.

And when YOUR state is the one putting crazy, psychotic and moronic evangelical people like Michelle Bachmann into office time and time again, we have the right to call you out on it.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Libra

It's one of those difficult days when anything can and will happen. Someone you were relying on might let you down, plans could be changed at the eleventh hour or a machine could go on the blink. To make matters worse, your energy levels are very erratic, so you feel full of beans one minute and ready to go to sleep the next. Don't make the situation worse by eating foods that give you a high followed by a slump.
