This is about 13 European countries with Islam population growing inside other countries. After their population grows large enough the Islam population protests that they don't have to follow the countries laws due to their belief in Sharia Law. Due to Sharia Law they are exempt from Obama care. We're talking about a 13 story Islamic center. We're not talking about a YMCA or some Youth Center. This Facility will be used for Fundamental political strategies, and a for front for future agendas. There are many Islamic people in the States that are against the Mosque. I hope there are many to come.

What a bunch of Islamic idiots raising their ugly heads to spit in the face of Americans and claiming religious freedom and racism as their only defense. Islam is NOT a religion of peace and it never has been. A few of the idiots go out and harass the world, the rest of them sit back and revel in their doctrine. Nothing these people say means anything. They say anything to pacify the crowd and then do another. These are NOT people of peace, but two faced liars that want their mosque to show they conquered their enemy, nothing more.
Muhammad was a terrorist and stole his thoughts from other religions and created this facade of plaguristic writings about an imaginary God he dreamed up called ALLAH. He is buried in the ground, turned to dust, and is no more; nothing more than a mortal defeated by death. All he left was his plaguristic scribblings and these very stupid followers that want to tell us they are all about peace. NO MOSQUE, NO ISLAM, NO MORE of this stupid religion that kills innocent people and then laughs behind our backs.

Is there bloodshed coming? Is it foreseen that religious riots will occur? Have Jews been fighting Palestinians? Catholics fighting Protestants? Siek wars? Tibetan holy men slaughtered? Crusades? Inquisitions? Seems the holy war has come to American shores...fought BY Americans...Against Americans...sigh...history tells us the passion zealots will only resolve the issue with violence and bloodshed...sane dialogue has broken down...
Bring on the bloodshed, more pain more suffering...kill each other off if you must but bring it on and let's get it over with...we who choose other, more peaceful solutions and conditions are tired of warning you...

I oppose the location of the proposed Islamic Community Center/Mosque due to the close proximity to Ground Zero.

That said however, I think it is very interesting that it is largely the conservative crowd that is in such a froth about it. The Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act of 2000 was authored and introduced by Charles Canaday and Orin Hatch, two staunch conservatives who've made it virtually impossible for any governmental body to prevent the building of the mosque.

This is the same reason some of us have to put up with "rehab churches" and synagogues in the middle of our residential communities.

Walking blindly in faith is not a good practice. There are radical Christians as well as radical Muslims. Neither religion wants anything to do with their radicals. I see comments about nuking Muslims?! Wow... do you see the hypocracy?That is radicalism.. and it's not that uncommon in the US. Read your Bible again, it is an amazing guide to a great life of PEACE... so is the Qur'an.. and the vast majority of people from each religion see it as such.

Are you serious!?! I have been to a HUGE "Mega Church" near where your comments says you are.... the "West Angeles Church of God in Christ". It is absolutely Huge... check it out online or drop by sometime... IT'S HUGE!

Why would Christains need one of these? It has a huge daycare center, classrooms, main service auditoriums, many smaller conference auditoriums, it has its own security force, bookstore, and studies... it creates a peaceful and safe environment for believers to go that is friendly to their beliefs and where they can be sure that their family is surrounded by other believers.

Ask why these Christians would like to have such a space as this Mega Church, and you'll discover that you have your answer to why the Muslims would like to build their center...

Others have rights, even if you don't agree with or are ignorant of their beliefs.

Obama is so politically naive. He's trying to satisfy too many people with too many conflicting views. In his poor attempt to be the great unifier, he will inadvertently be the great divider.

it's not that the US can't build a mosque, it just shouldn't build the mosque there.

Ask who gave the money for the Mega Churches and they will say that "God Provides". Many will keep their donations (offerings) to churches anonymous... where is the conspiracy here again? I miss the point that you are so adimant about making.
