Very clever. Kinda like driving a big SUV to the "no war for oil" protests a few years ago ? When will you people grow up and learn what is important ?

They could have chosen a better song.... Since when did a liberal group oppose using taxpayer money? It would seem as though liberals and conservatives could agree that using taxpayer money to fund moving a private business, funding abortions, providing a "carve-out" in the tax code for their buddies, or building a stadium is misappropriation of taxpayer funds.

Congratulations everyone for being part of the lamest protest ever. I do give them credit though because after a Bob Evan's breakfast the only things I do is wonder why I ordered the pot roast hash and then go back to sleep.

The cop was there at Bob Evans? Are you sure he wasn't actually at the Tim Horton's 2 doors down when he saw a group of dancing halfwits in front of Bob Evans?

So Bob Evans is getting state money to make this move? It makes no sense to me for the state getting involved in a matter like this, the state should never play favorites among jurisdictions.

Pretty screwy protest. They first patronize Bob Evans by eating breakfast then go into a disruptive rant to protest their move to New Albany? What happened to the good old days of picketing outside with cardboard and wood signs?

Yeah? And how much would you be protesting if the jobs were moved out of state? I know people whose jobs were moved out of state over the last couple of years and no one seemed to care. I'm so sick of people thinking THEIR agenda is the only agenda and that gives them the right to disrupt the day of private citizens. That money was going to go somewhere; thankfully, it went toward keeping our family, friends and neighbors employed. What don't you protestors get about that? Reading articles like this makes me especially glad I am no longer affiliated with the Democratic party. Far left or far right, the squeaky wheels acts have got to stop.

The Republicans are talking out both sides of their orifices. Yet again. I hope Bob Evans survives their move to Wexnerville but this crap has now moved onto facebook so who knows.

New Independat the jobs weren't going out of state... give me a break... move headquarters to texas? please BE has ZERO stores in Texas and only 3 TOTAL in the 6 surrounding states... they weren't going anywhere but they aren't/shouldn't be protesting Bob Evans... who can blame them for GETTING an easy pay out from Kasich (of our money)... Kasich is the one giving the money away for nothing

So does anyone know who this group of losers are? My guess they are part of SEIU. That is more their style of doing things. At least John Kasich kept the jobs here instead of Bob Evans going to Texas. The company which bought Owens Resturants in Texas had land to move all of their operations to. We should be thankful the jobs stayed here in Ohio. Kasich has saved more jobs with Bob Evan than clueless Ted Strickland ever did.

These people, who probably live in Clintonville, have been waiting there whole "gee-I-wish-it-was-still- the-60s-so-I-could-protest-som ething-while-wearing-ponytails -dirty jeans-and-Birkenstocks" lives to do something like that! Now they can go home and take naps.

Just because a protester from a ultra liberal stink tank says something doesn't make it so. Bob Evans was moving one way or the other. It could have been to North Columbus, New Albany or Texas where they have recently been building production facilities. State money helped to assure it was in Ohio rather than Texas. New Albany actually offered less to Bob Evans than Columbus did to help them move to a spot near Polaris. That leads me to believe that the oppressive individual tax that Coleman shoved through on people who had no ability to vote for or against it may have had a major influence on the decision. Mikey and his city government just keep spending money on foolish things and expect people who don't live in Columbus to pay for it.

You mean all those teacher, fire fighter, police, and state workers jobs? And the jobs lost when those people have no buying power because they're unemployed and can't even afford Bob Evans? Those jobs? Strickland wasn't perfect, but NO GOVERNOR, NOT EVEN "GOD" KASICH COULD HAVE SAVED THE JOBS AFTER THE WALL STREET AND FINANCE DISTRICT JERKS (INCLUDING "GOD" KASICH AT LEHMAN BROS.) COULD HAVE SAVED THOSE JOBS IN OHIO. Of course I don't really expect any republican to either admit that or maybe even understand it.

Kasich is the one giving the money away for nothing Headquarters employs plenty of people. If you were unemployed because your job had moved out of state, you would know who is hiring right now. Bob Evans Headquarters is hiring. Grab a clue - we are talking individual survival at this point with things likely to get worse economically. It's your house. You decide.

Would you prefer to apply for a job in an area that is unstable, or an area that is stable - especially if you are working late at night? Tax money flowing into Columbus doesn't seem to be doing a whole lot of good, unless you consider the deterioration of that neighborhood a good thing.
