The two mentioned in the same breathe is laughable. Whitney is a legendary songstress "the voice". More is expected from her anyway. Hook Britneys voice to a computerized instrument as usual and hire some great creators of beats and hooks and she'll get a hit surely particullarly among teenagers who's idea of a great song isn't anything more than a rhythmic sexscapade and bragging session of "what I got and you don't" hooked to the same predictable sounds. I swear music sucks today. lol.

lmao Whitney Houston's last album only sold 1 million in the US, and that was back in the year 2001 I believe. Whitney is just too old now. It's going to end up worse than Madonna's Hard Candy album which has only sold 600,000 in the US.

Britney is able to sell 1 million now in 2007-2008 with hardly any promotion. Plus cd sales as a whole are completely down. That tells you something about Britney's fanbase.

any way ill put it like this: Whitney has her fan base (me included) and BS has hers i just want her to do well. Britney respects and looks up to whitts so they should not even be compared this is not a fight, this is singers selling there music. Whitts will still do well i am sure. after all she is the best!

I heard some of you out there are talking about Beyounce, Britny, Mariah as best singers, all of ya need to sit down and bequiet.......When Whitney came out she came to screase the whole entire world with her career......meaning she has brought Blacks and whites,spanish, asians in all 7 continents not to even mention gospel. And she lasted longer and the music industry. Talking about Britny she only lasted 4 or 5 years and she turned out to be out her good mind and disappeard.......Beyounce, the reason she was that popular was because of that Destiny's Child group and now that she's married she is not going to be as popular as she was....people will be looking for new singers, Mariah will be gone in a couple of years. Truly, Whitney Houston was a perfect gift to us and still is. One thing i admire about Whitney the most was because she did not have to do anything with her body to prove to people that she was beautiful such as plastic surgery everything about her was truly real, her beauty, her skin complexion, her hieght not to get her little tiny skiny body and still is eventhough she got a kid......I m saying it again it's truly a gift from heaven (ms.Whitney Houston)
