Shape shifter. What will you think of next? It must stick in your craw not to call him a flip-flopper.
This is the guy who promised that insurance rates and taxes would "drop like a rock." This is the guy who promised that tax cuts wouldn't cause cuts in services only to cut billions from law enforcement, roads, schools, fire and rescue and health care. He'd fit right in in DC, but this isn't a "business as usual" election. This year we need to put all of the liars and crooks in jail!

But then the alternative is rather frightening since the alternative is nothing more than catchy phrases and no substance.

who is taking the poll that says Chuckles has a 60% approval? I am a staunch Republican with like-minded friends and none of us approve of this idiot's work. He's enough to make me vote for a Democrat (within reason mind you. Osama isn't getting my vote). Bring on Alex!

We keep getting what we deserve from our political leaders because we do not demand more. The moment we elect someone who tells us we need to raise taxes or not have property insurance for condos on the beach is the moment we will have come to terms with how foolish we have been as an electorate.

I dream of the day when we would be debating individuals and not political affiliations. The day when individuals would seek office and owed no allegiance to political party hacks. The day when no "D" or "R" was included behind some candidate's name. The day envisioned and urged on by George Washington himself.

You are correct! Until we stand up to these clowns and demand accountability, both in Tallahassee, Washington, and all the state capitals in America, we will keep getting the mediocre, do-nothing, lying, self-serving officials we have now. It is up to us, as voters, to take over and start demanding that those elected to office not only talk the talk, but also walk the walk. Problem is, many Americans are so apathetic, they'll let these losers get by with anything...so they do!

Mike Thomas has been spot-on about Charlie Crist for a long time. And he's right about Alex Sink, too. I'm a dyed-in-the-wool Republican, sick of the populist pandering by Charlie that has placed the entire state in great peril.

The supporters of A-1 remind me of those who voted for a "bulle train" and of course the YES vote was a land slide. Then when the State came back and ask "how do you want to pay for it" the yea voters then realized the taxes to build it would be over their heads. This A-1 scam compares to the train scam.

For those of you who complain about lover boy Crist, remember that the majority of you voted this a** clown into office. You get the government you deserve. This state's downward spiral has only been accelerated with Crist's nomination to office, and you, the PUBLIC, are the ones to blame. So, the next time you complain and say this governor sucks, remember that it was you who voted him into office, so YOU suck as well.

Republicans simply cannot be trusted. They are hipocritcal, because they never practice what they preach. Democrats aren't the answer to all the worlds problems. But at least they don't attempt impose morality on people. I can't help but think of Larry Craig hunting for free male on male sex in a public bathroom while all the time in Washington peaching how wrong and "un-Christian" Homosexuality is.

What poll was that or was it the vote for amendment 1. Wasn't that 60%? If it is 60%, then I guess the republican party is now a religion and it moves in mysterious ways.

Crist is all show and absolutely no substance! A pretty boy who would rather attend those parties in D.C. instead of attending to business here in what's supposed to be his home state. McCain gave him his 5 minutes in the spotligh but everyone already knows Charlie has been dropped to the back up list, and not at the top of that either! As a Republican, I am embarrassed by his actions (lack of) and the entire Legislative session and what they did TO the people of Florida. Because of their total disregard for the people I will not donate money, time, or support for any Republican in this state. They all stuck together in Tallahassee, let them stick together on the unemployment line!
