The Tourist is the last super duper movie
that I really had a fit over.

I zoomed to the theatre to see "Moneyball!!" I loved it,
but the ending was artistic and above my head. The audience
loved it.

I am nuts about "The Grey."
I saw "Young Adult," last night and if the movie
had started out with Cherlize wearing a thong, or being so
drunk that she walked into a wall or something crazy, the movie
would have made you pay closer attention. I gradually got move
interested in her character, but Michelle Pheiffer and Angelina
would have nailed it and would have had you eating out of their
hands, imo. I loved her performance, but I expect more from her.

She was cracked, but she did not reveal it, until way in the last
part of the movie. Have you seen Michelle and Angelina to
CRAZY and DISTURBED???? They are unforgettable.

"Young Adult,"

It’s a fearless performance, but beyond sheer voyeurism Reitman and Cody never give us a reason to pay attention to Mavis,” the critic writes.

“Let alone give three-quarters of a crap about what becomes of her.”

**********

Well, there are a lot of women
that have lived long enough to have
been there and done that!!!

So, I was interested in the movie at once.
I wanted to see where it took me.

I just saw Moneyball. Certainly one of Brad Pitts outstanding film performances and an all around outstanding movie. He is long overdue for an Oscar. I will be disappointed if he doesn't win this year. Other fantastic performances by BP, where the entire movie was outstanding: Fight Club, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Seven Years in Tibet (I thought he lost the characterization of the main character he had going in the romantic scenes with the girl and in the scenes with the Dali Lama. Love and sprituality would have been a difficult transition for that character. Other than that, beautiful movie.), Kalifornia, The Tree of Life, and The Assasination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. I haven't seen all of his movies, but of the ones I have seen, I liked the above best. Also great supporting roles in Thelma and Louise and Burn After Reading. How he has missed an Oscar, I don't know.

I didn't think The Tourist was one of Angelina's better movies. What I've noticed about Angelina - if she has an outstanding script and part, she rises to the occasion. I think she has fun doing some movies though that might not be up to her capabilities. Do you agree, Blondie, or do you think I am all wet? I am no expert on acting that's for sure.

Before I get to your question...
I have to say hello, and let you know
that I am happy to hear from you.

I think that everyone is over at www.youtube.com
enjoying all of the wonderful Angelina and Brad
news and breaking stories about the Award Shows
and Oh-my-gosh THE PHOTO'S are breath-taking....woo-woo!

I have kept soooo quiet, lately, that I can not believe it.
I am leaking money like a sieve, since Thanksgiving.

Getting to the point: The Tourist was my personal trip
to Venice with Johnny Depp, that is in my fantasy,
and all I have to do, is to put the DVD on and watch.

He will do, since Brad did not play the part!
I put off going to Venice when I was young and pretty,
and when I had the money. I waited too long and lost
my chance to go there, but in this movie and in my fantasy,
there I am, and not being bored one single bit.

Beauty everywhere. Magical scenes. Gowns. Dancing.
Romance. Intrigue. A lady that is fabulous. An adoring man
at her side....tons of action and suspense. Thrills.
A very satisfying ending. The music is lovely, too.

Europeans loved it. They understood it complettely.
The USA loved it. Only the paid bloggers and the other freaks
that got swayed, tried to bad mouth this marvelous movie.
It did not smother the truth. It is a winner.

So many marriages have crumbled,

Poor David and Courtney.
I guess that what I mean is,
poor childish Courtney.
The grass looks greener on the other side,
I imagine, to her eyes.

If David walks out, in my opinion,
Courtney's nervous breakdown
will make Demi Moore's little fit
look like a cake walk.

Guess what, Aquarious.
I just saw the movie called
"Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close,"
starring Tom Hanks and Sandra Bullock,
and let me tell you that I LOVED it.

Sandra played her part to a TEEEEEEE.
Tom Hanks was lovely.
That little boy was spectacular.

I highly advise you to go and see this move.
If you have seen it already, please tell me.

If Brad Pitt had played the part
that Tom Hanks played,
I guess that I would still be crying my eyeballs
out, right now.

Aquarious!!! I watched "War Horse"
last night, on my copy that I got
from the neighborhood "guy."

If I did not know any better,
I would suspect that Hollywood
is making sure that I get to view
these excellent movies, so that I
can report to you, my unfiltered
opinion of them!!

"War Horse" is rocking!!
As the young people might have said,
a while back. Gosh, the camera work
and film shots are so well done,
that you get the feeling that you
can smell and touch that beautiful horse.

I enjoyed the movie very much,
and Speilberg has not lost his touch.
I hope that you get to see it.
The battle scenes got to me, and I had
to turn away, until that lost of life
passed, and then when that stuff was over,
I turned my attention back to the movie.

Have you seen "War Horse?"

I thought of what a wonderful horseman
Brad was in "Legend of The Fall,"
as Tristan. Didn't he look tall in the saddle?

Oh, and his hair, blowing in the breeze!!!

Yarrrrrr.

I even have a copy of "Iron Lady,"
that I plan to watch this evening.

I will let you know what I think of it.

Aquarious???? Are you there????

**********Here is the juicey:

I guess Courtney’s dude must have given her
the brush off speech:
“It’s not you. It’s me!!!”

Now she’s crying to anyone who will listen,
that she can’t get laid!!! Haaa haaa haaa.

Who wants to be trapped
by a cold harted
nagging harpy and a bossy, mannish…..(bleep?)

Who else, besides Brad, is as sweet and cuddley as David?

This is how the cookie crumbles.

CoCo will be 18 before too long,
and Courtney will be alone
and counting sheep,
and suffering from exhaustion!!!

In my opinion. Jen will be ginding her teeth,
and happy that she is not
the only idiot in town....
and -possibly still in
haitus.

Your attention does jump around, Blondie. The scenery in The Tourist is beautiful. I am not a huge fan of Johnny Depp. I do recognize his talent, but even that doesn't do it for me. He does have a quirky sense of humor. I get a kick out of that. Angelina's romantic presentation in The Tourist - doesn't ring true for me. It didn't in Mr. and Mrs. Smith either. It's something like you see in old movies. Maybe she watched a ton of those movies growing up. Maybe I am too old and jaded. Yet she was right on romantically in what I consider one of her best movies, George Wallace. I loved the scene when she was dancing with George Wallace - pushing his wheel chair around. Such a touching scene for someone as young as Angelina Jolie was at that time. Angelina's humanitarian nature shined through, I thought. It was real not an act.

War Horse does look to be a good movie. One I want to see. I will also see the movie you mentioned with Angelina Jolie and Charlize (sp?) Theron, Crazy and whatever (can't remember). That is I will watch it if it isn't too scary for my delicate nerves.

Brad was beautiful (What else is new?)in Legend of the Fall. If Brad actually rode the horse - he is indeed a good rider. Beautiful movie, as was A River Runs Through It. Brad was beautiful in both movies. Both movies were beautiful. I just think Brad was challenged more as an actor in many other movies and delivered. My opinion, which I know you don't find that important.

Is WWZ a Science Fiction film? If so, I won't see the movie. Sorry, I don't like Science Fiction or Horror movies. That's why I could never watch Brad Pitt in Eight Monkeys (Is that the name of it?), even though it is said to be one of his better movies.

The Tourist. Angelina Jolie was very glamorous in the movie. She dresses very glamorously in real life. You said Europeans liked the film. Europeans dress much better than Americans, don't you think? Since the late 60s and 70s, we have gone downhill in that department. You, Blondie, Angelina and the Europeans think differently than I. In the old movies the actors and actresses were so glamorous, weren't they?

Angelina's love connection in SALT was well done. She acted very lovingly with and concerned about her husband - in a natural way. I am surprised to this day that I really liked that film, because of the type of film - the over-the-top fighting, killing, car chases. However, I thought it was one of Angelina's better movies.

Thank you for this very sweet article posted on A&B+6. It must be shared with all the fans who have no access to A&B

“The most beautiful couple in Hollywood came to the big “Cinema for Peace” Gala.

Angelina Jolie (36) in a long gray dress, Brad Pitt (48) in a black suit and glasses.

Actually they were on time, but they came too late in the hall. Sir Bob Geldof (60) already held his opening speech, in which he said:“Fame is like a currency. Angelina Jolie has decided to use it for good purposes.”

This commitment was honored that evening. Angelina Jolie received an honorary award for her war film “In the Land of Blood and Honey”.

And in her acceptance speech, she fought back the tears!

“It broke my heart when I started researching for this film,” she said.“The people have suffered so much! It was a great need to make this film. I dedicate this award to these people.”

Touching. Also to see the love between Brad and Angelina. As if they had met only last week, he put his arm around her constantly. She snuggled against his shoulder.
Hach, Brangelina, shame that you’re gone again tomorrow. Berlin will miss you …”

Fans, see, if you can -

Congratulations to Angelina Jolie. I will have to see Blood and Honey. This is a good year for the Jolie-Pitts.

I was thinking about Johnny Depp. I did absolutely love him in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and the Pirate movies. That quirky sense of humor I do appreciate.

Love the Angie and her man Brad.
It’s been an exciting year watching them at so many different premiers.

Brad picked up multiple noms not just for one film but for two that is an honor in itself.

Angie blew us all away writing and directing her own firlm this year .
An edgy war and love pic.
PPl like Clint Eastwood actor and director the veteren of the best movies to date gave Angie kudos for making a very difficult type of movie . Angie’s movie put her on the map with a brand new title as Director to go along with her Best actress, higest paid female actress and her forever known long term Philantropist for the UN. Fans all over the world love Angie and Brad .

This will be another year never to be forgotten for all of the hard work and great films the jolie Pitts put out for all to see and enjoy.

The King and Queen of Hollywood will live on with or without a trophy
as the most beautiful couple as well as talented always surprising us
just when you think their work couldn’t do any better.

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Libra

You're in an idealistic mood today and only want to see the best in other people. This is typical Libran behaviour, because you aren't good at facing up to harsh reality at the best of times. Today, you're ready to believe that someone is a candidate for sainthood or that they're the best thing that's ever happened to you, regardless of whether it's true or not.
