The U.S. prices are fair. The Europe prices aren't and that's a shame because the European fans are in many way better and more loyal fans than Americans will ever be. now you didn't have to go there and say that... those are just fighting words.... the reason you think that European fans are more loyal is because you wish you lived here in the US and you don't have bands like Bon Jovi in Europe that are great like them.

You are just as misinformed. I live in the U.S. and wouldn't want to live anywhere else. It's my opinion and I am entitled to it. Also, I have explained before my thinking behind this and it has been proven true by the band's actions in recent years.

BonJersey wrote: <quoted text> What the other half are missing is that tickets are selling. Just like they did at the Prudential last tour. The O2 are special one off shows being done in one place in Europe. Whatever the motivation for the ticket prices, whatever the reason playing many shows in one location or whoever’s fault ticket prices, bottom line none of it matters because the tickets are selling. That is why they keep adding more dates to the O2. If it was not selling no extra dates would be added. In some cases it may actually boost tickets sales. As sick as it sounds if it can be potentially perceived as exclusive and free PR for the show, it could boost sales. Packages are here to stay until they stop selling. I am not saying it is right or wrong, just that it is now the reality that must be dealt with. The problem with these shows selling out so fast is that it creates a misleading scene. Yes, tickets are selling, but who has them right now? Do you believe the majority of tickets sold so far are actually in the hands of fans who will end up going to the shows, or are they in the possession of scalpers/ticket agencies who will REALLY jack the prices up? The guys need to be careful about adding more dates. If the scalpers ask for too much, Bon Jovi could be looking at a large number of empty seats. Yes, the show would be 'sold out' in terms of were-the-tickets-purchased, but that's not very satisfying when you're playing to a half empty arena.

Actually if the scalpers have to many tickets in inventory prior to the show, they will cut the prices, they will sell for under what they paid to cut their loses right before the show. Bon Jovi will not be playing to half empty seats. Part of the reason that packages are offered are to undercut the scalper. Scalpers would get 1,000-1,500 for front row and you would just get a seat. With the packages you are at least getting something else with it for the price. Emily are you going to try for tickets to Philly?

Our precious Jon is far from innocent in this matter and it's crap that AEG's motivation factor in this is to make up for the money that they lost when Michael Jackson croaked the big one. The fact that Jon the CEO of Bon Jovi went along with this shows just where his loyalties and desires really lie. Money and not the fans. Sorry Jonny lovers but he only thinks of you all as cash cows "not cougars and MILFs" Great to see you back posting! I completely agree with you and its such a shame that after all these years this is what its come to, and they don't even need the money anymore!

I'll also add that the packages...whether through fan club or TM are all Will Call pickup on the night of the show. This makes it that much more difficult for scalpers to sell these tickets. Some will still do so, but most buyers do NOT want to have to wait until the night of a concert and go meet a scalper to get their actual tickets. I know at ACC in Toronto those guys "live" at the venue and are hovering around the box office all the time. As soon as TM ever does any good ticket only drops, they are right there to grab those tickets.

Doubt anyone will get in the pit for 150 because all the packages are there. 36.50 really is not bad for a show but no one wants to sit up top. Don't know if this has been said here yet but: NO TICKET ON CONCOURSE 2 should be $150, and you CANNOT get a PIT ticket for $150 whether or not they list it that way.

I still think it would be nice for Jon to make a comment on the 02 prices. In comparison with other concerts I have been to, these prices are very high. Come on Jon - let's hear what you've got to say about it.

Jon was asked about this by Phil on This Morning today and said he didn't really know about the price but was responsible and would look into it. I've started a new thread about the programme with links to the interview and song they sang. The price of these tickets is also being picked up elsewhere. Here is an article which puts in very bluntly. http://woodenspears.com/jon-bon-jovi-pisses-o...

Just got my tix for Edmonton show.I had to buy upper in the Stadium because the lower rows started at $250 per ticket and went to $1000. I think that is insane for a concert. The good news is that I got close to the stage and Richie's side......the bad news is that Richie will look like an ant I am so high up :( Oh well at least I'm going.

Sorry but I still can't see what's wrong with those tix prices? once converted, they are no different than our prices if not cheaper. Fleetwood Mac were charging $750 for front row (nothing else) and Nickelback are $200 just for tix. I think the tix quoted in this are fare and reasonable and have a good price rang for everyone. I paid $250 for my Lost Highway Tix last year, and paid $165 for Pink and $200 2 years ago for Guns n Roses.
