Okay..have been a true fan since the beginning..been to almost every concert they have played in NY/Nj and philly area over the years....but this new meadowlands concert ticket prices are not right....and we know that Jon sets the prices for these concerts. I mean come on now Jon and the rest of the guys... do you really need more money? Can't you feel for your fans a little?
I am not looking for front row, but even the other sections on the side are so expensive. okay ..sorry to vent but I had to. Think of your fans sometimes too!!! |

How much are the tickets? What do you usually pay for tickets? Your not the only one that's upset about ticket prices...the last tour some fans were complaining about how more the tickets cost. |

The documentary even solidified the proof that Jon does control everything. That point is very clear in the show that he knows all...he complained about it. He knows that the prices skyrocketed this year and he knows the economy is so bad and so many people are out of work. More factories are closing and moving out of the country. I really don't believe this tour will be all that successful because families have to use their money on more important things and there are other fun things to do alot cheaper than seeing Bon Jovi in concert. There are other concerts going a whole lot cheaper.

These are the ticket prices for GS:
Pit US $150.00 Field Level US $150.00 Concourse 2 US $36.50 - US $150.00 Concourse 1 US $36.50 - US $150.00 Concourse 3 US $36.50 - US $66.00 Being the first shows in the new stadium, I didn't think the prices were bad. Doubt anyone will get in the pit for 150 because all the packages are there. 36.50 really is not bad for a show but no one wants to sit up top. |

IMO you are correct but certain markets will sell and NY/NJ will sell and with the opening of the new stadium, people will want to go just to say they are going to the new stadium. Some markets I think they are going to struggle and unless they do something with ticket prices will play to 1/2 to 3/4 house. |

Your beef is with the promoters; not Jon!!! Why do you think prices differs from venue to venue and country to country?
Half the time they are on stage thet don't even know where in the world they are (exaggeration promote understanding; you get my drift). I could give you an example if you would like?

IMO $150.00 is alot of money these days...since I won't go alone that's $300.00 I don't know about others here but that's a nice chunk of change for me.

Anymore I have to stop and think how many hours my hubby has to work to make $150. He has a great job but everything is going up in price!!!! And bonuses are going down. I than God every day that hubby has a secure job with insurance. Otherwise we would be living with our parents. I sure can think of some wonderful things I could do on my house for that money. |

Oh, it's the band - all bands, not just bon jovi.
If you truly want to believe it's only the promoters' fault then I have some awesome swampland to sell you in southern Arizona! In Bon Jovi's case, Jon's in charge. He has to know. Plus, AEG is promoting the entire Bon Jovi tour - 3rd tour in a row - and they're in pretty tight partnership it seems with the band so stop trying to give Jon a free pass. He might not be doing the paperwork but he knows what's going on . |

Ok its not so dramatic Here its 65 for U2 in arena Oh U are all just Jovi spoilled LMAO |

The venues definitely take their cuts. If a ticket cost $200 on the last tour, it may have been (for example) a split of $100 each going to the band and venue. If that same venue is now going to cost you $250 or $300 who's to say that the $50 or $100 more isn't going to the venue and the band is still taking the $100 like last time? Do I know that for sure? No. But I do know that when I saw BJ at Gillette Stadium in 2003 it cost me $30 to park, in 2006 it cost me $35 and when my brother went to a Pats game a few weeks ago it was up to $50....and that's just the parking! If you think the venues aren't taking their cuts in all of this, you're dreaming.
And BonJersey I agree with you about those ticket prices. For a combination of a new stadium and Bon Jovi performing...seems pretty decent. The problem is that the scalpers will get all the tickets in a pre-sale and the fans who actually want to go to the show will end up paying a lot more than that face value. Courtesy of the scalpers (disguised very nobly as 'ticketing agencies'), there will be very few people who end up actually paying the $36.50. |

So sorry Lida. I am sure it is more expensive for you having to fly to see them on top of ticket prices. I have never seen them and at the current prices, I never will. I will stick to bootleg dvds of the shows. They are more in my budget and I don't have to sacrifice so much to watch them. |

I'd gladly pay those prices to see them in Buffalo or Pittsburgh or Cleveland!!! If I buy the cheaper tickets I can go to all three!!

I know what you mean...Me and My Man both work and we both have decent jobs but money is tight these days and like you said everything is going up! We don't have insurance so if one of us ends up in the hospital that'll break us. Your right I can also think about some (necessary) things I can do with $300.00...that doesn't even include buying munchies/beers while at the concert! Don't get me wrong I love Bon Jovi and I've only been to one concert...I wish I could afford going to the Circle concert but I'll have to pass since I don't want the nose bleed seats...what's the point of going then? I can just blast the cd on my stereo close my eyes and pretend I'm there...LOL Hopin' everyone that does go shares the experience with us here... I'll just live vicariously through them. :) |

I thought I saw much higher prices than that on the fanclub sight... and maybe even elsewhere.... I thought they were upwards of $600 for the circle or whatever that is....?? |

I think the prices for US and Paris are reasonable. I saw the band at MSG on the Lost Highway tour and I could swear my ticket cost $300.
The cost of putting on.a tour hasn't gone down in two years - transport costs, accomodation, power and salaries etc. And for people who feel $150 is too much for their budget, that's why there are $40 tickets. |

I got vip package voor nj, cuz i really do not want to miss it, but looking at the reg prices it aint so bad. venues and promotors know we still paying for it, sometimes whatever the cost. The NJ shows and the 02 residency are "special shows" I am sure the prices of the tikets on the normal legs of the tour are reasonable.

out of curiousity...where was your seat for MSG for the lost highway tour? |
