What really scares me...is that I actually agree with you on this one...I teach middle school and comments made about young girls can lead to many different types of problems...who are you voting for???? If you say John McCain...

As for highlighting her hair, I don't think it's a big deal. I'd let my daughter do it. It could be worse, she could want an eyebrow piercing or a nose ring OR that disgusting tongue piercing thing. Hey Maureen, tongue piercing cannot be hygenic, can it? I bet they get infected alot. YUK! I agree. Dorothea was very tall and thin when she was a teenager too. I think Stephanie just takes after her mother. When I was 15, I lost 10 lbs. of baby fat naturally and fast. As far as Stephanie changing her hair color, well, if that's the worst a teenage daughter of a world-class rock star has done thus far, I think Jon and Dorothea are doing a good job! At that age, you have to pick your battles. Good job mom and dad!

Totally agree, Stephanie is only 15, she is still a "kid" sort of, a teenage kid, she's growing, maturing, and learning at the same time, and I'm sure it's not an easy time for her neither, remember, all of us here were once teenagers ourselves, we know what it's like, and in this day in age, teenagers in general have more tough now the we did. I think it was more of concern, being in the type of environment that she's in (fashion) it can be hard on a young girl to try to look super skinny and go about it in an unhealthy way. With all that being said I think it was just in comparison to the last time we saw her or I even looked back to the arena bowl. Again it could just be that she was in baggy clothes which makes her look skinner anyway. I dont think any disrespect was intended

I'm really shocked so I've seen the pictures. Stephanie is totally thin ... With brown hair, she saw better. It no longer looks doomed as 15

She looks perfectly normal to me. She's not super skinny or anything, just as a 15 year old should be. Leave the poor girl alone!

I think it's Stephanie's clothes that don't flatter her - I think she looks slim, pretty and grumpy!! Just like my stunning teenager who's 16!!

I don't think anyone was "making fun" of her either, just making observations. She's like my niece who's 17, just sort of "gangly" like a young colt :D

I hate it when celebrity kids get photographed, they aren't the celebs, those sleezy photogs should leave kids alone.

I agree. if Steph were to see some of the opinions on her I am sure she would probably be bothered by it as who wouldnt. We really shouldnt comment like that on Jon's kids...its not fair to them or the family.
