I think topix should require everyone to register with an email/password and screen identity!

This will stop a lot of different names and using other's screen names to cause problems.

Without this, all I have to do is type whatever name I want and comment. Jonrichie was treated very unfairly by someone using her screenname. I can just as easily type sterling and comment under her name. It could have happened to any of us.

I comment occasionally without signing in depending on what computer I am using and I know jonspeaches does too.

I hope you don't leave for good but I understand your need for a break.

Interesting New Posters!

We also seem to have 3 new posters in the last few days from Manahawkin, NJ.

So it looks like the games are not over yet. This is so tiring...

I for one will be ignoring all this and only post the 'good' stuff and pretend anything else doesn't exist!

This is me burying my head in the sand...looking for Richie...but probably find Jon as that seems to be a favorite hiding place, at least according to jonspeaches...she seems to have fun in the sand...

I have nothing to do with the posts from New Jersey. I have only ever posted under "JonRichie". However, my username was mimicked because I am not registered and it was even easier for them because my ISP changes. So unfortunately, some thought that was me.

Thank you to those who stand behine me and to those who stand behind but will not post for fear of being ridculed. It's obvious that those who have responded to this post have been judged for it but I thank you regardless.

JennTrip, I will be contacting you about the DVDs. So look out for it. Did you ever get the Storytellers DVD?

I'm not new! I've tried to register but I can't work out why they keep telling me my name "Londongirl" is already taken. That's why I'm still temporary. I can't understand why I appear in Croydon when originally I was in London; nothing at my end has changed. I'm not very internet literate, so it's a bit of a struggle - but if Londongirl starts getting ratty, it won't be me!!

don't worry about just like me i live in pennsylvania, but for some reason the isp location comes up new jersey and i can't fix that i have tried

I think it has something to do with topix, It has me in ozark, Ala or Enterprize, ala. I don't live in either place. And I've tried to fix it too.

I had that happen to me before I signed on to Topix. Boy was I hot. If I could have, I would have reached out and touched someone right upside the head. At least I knew who did it to me. The past few weeks it has been tough to find our resident troublemaker. I haven't been reading everything - been fighting my own battles on another galaxy far far away.

Just pick another name then. JoviLondonGirl or LondonGirl2 or whatever...don't let that stop you from registering. Like Melissa did..she just registerd as MJB since Melissa was taken. Just let us know who you are! LOL!
