Can anyone give me some lyrics help? It is driving me crazy...in a few live versions of "Always" there is an additional verse at the end that goes, "Through the wind, through the snow, through the driving rain...something, something, something...to be back in your arms, to kiss your lips...something, something, something " What does he say there? I haven't heard them do it the few times they have sang Always this tour but some of the old ones I've seen it. Also, does anyone know where to get a live version of that song w/ the additional verse? Just curious!

There are two versions live from London of the 3rd verse.

Here is the Live from London Always from the first night from youtube from 1995. It has the extra verse you are wanting on it.

http://www.youtube.com/watch...

He says:

Through the wind and the snow, through the driving rain
Baby, I will run all the way home
just to be in your arms.

Oh Yeah!

And, I swear that its true
I will do anything
Baby, every night I'd die for you

Woah, oh
Woah, oh
Woah, oh

Yeah, Yeah Yeah

Then there is Richie's solo

And then the last verse like he sings now.

On the third night, here is the link and he says the verse a bit different. Sorry, I couldn't make out the very last two words.

http://www.youtube.com/watch...

He says on this one:

Through the wind, through the snow, through the driving rain
I'll crawl all the way home baby, baby, baby
To be back in your arms,
just to takes your kiss,
just to hear you say, baby are you all right
when I am not __________

Yeah

Then Richie's solo

You can also buy the Live from London DVD from Amazon. I am not sure which version it has on it, though.

From memory, I think he sings...

Through the wind, through the snow, through the driving rain
I'll crawl all the way home baby, baby, baby
To be back in your arms,
just to feel your kiss,
just to hear you say, baby are you all right
on a night like this

Guys this is the funniest thing every. Very funny thread!!!!! LMAO
I have been wondering about that also because this version of always rules.
And the truth is Jon does change the lyrics of that all the time.
Trying to figure out what he sings... LOL Seriously. LMAO

I love it when he sings the extra verse and I always find myself singing it in my head, or at least whatever I think it says, whenever I watch a youtube version of the song. I don't think he sang the extra verse at all on this tour but I definitely could be wrong. I was thinking Central Park would have been the best bet for it but he didn't do it. Anyway, I'm w/ you it is kind of funny that everyone has a "different version" of what they think he says.
