What do we do now??

Okay, now that the tour is over, what the hell are we gonna do!! I know, I know, get a life! Well, I have a life, a great life, but Bon Jovi is something that I enjoy that's for me. I don't have to share it with my husband or my kids (they'd roll their eyes at me anyway). You know it's going to be a long while before we see them again. I guess I'm just feeling sad about the whole thing and also feeling alitte silly for feeling that way.

I know exactly how you feel - but on the bright side we need to give the guys a rest so they can
produce more songs and so that we can enjoy them again!! They have had a long tour and I'm sure they are looking forward to some R & R, but in the meantime we have you tube and their DVDS to watch and listen to ( CDs, too )

If we can't have the real thing I am sure we will move to fan fiction. Step on it writers - we need more to dream about!!!!!!!:-)

Here's what's on my short list:

1. Watch the Arena Bowl on July 27th (Jon will be there).

2. Enter the MasterCard contest (1x per day thru Aug 31st) to meet Jon in person:

Last tour they took really a short break, like less than a month. Then it was back to writing for Jon and Richie, and traveling to Nashville, etc. They need to stay visible.

How are you these days? Been a little quiet from your corner....

well I hope that they will have a good break and that they will return to us as soon as possible cause we're gonna miss them..

Yeah, give them a well deserved break and wait until their next album venture. God knows what they'll put out next so in the meantime, we'll wait with patience......

I'm going to wait for the new DVD to come out!!! Hopefully it will be soon. I'm sure we'll have lots of Jon sightings in the Hamptons in the near future.

I kinda see them taking a longer break than last time. Look how many tours/cd's they have done since 2000. They have only taken short breaks not like the 2/5 year breaks in the 1990's. Although, with Richie's recovery maybe they will decide to keep working. He seems to do better surrounded by the guys versus being on his own, like spring break. Richie said himself he is ready to keep working.

I'm so glad you said this. I feel the exact same way and a bit silly about it too! As a mom I focus so much on my kids and husband that I don't have a whole lot things that are just my own. It's nice to know someone else feels the same way. That being said, have a great rest of the summer! Thanks for making me feel better!:-)

I couldn't agree more!! Any recommendations anyone? I've read (and cried) The Layover, and am reading The Sauna (have a great vaca, Opester!) and John Francis.

I'm on summer vaca right now with too much time on my hands, so make some suggestions, girls!

Well, for me, things are going to be status quo - I don't expect to go thru withdrawal until maybe the holidays? Of course, I didn't see the guys in person this year so I'm sure this will be super hard for all of you who did. I'm going to watch the videos & will continue to post for those interested. There is sooooo much that I haven't gotten to this year that I just dump into folders for each leg of the tour.

So my plans? Focus on the NYC & Boston shows the rest of this week. Maybe next week, start posting some for my friends who've already requested more footage, mixed in with some of the new. So if you need a fix specifically from your show, let me know so I can put in on the list. I know I've got good stuff all the back to Newark.

I think we'll have a great summer & fall just reliving all the special moments we've had this tour.

Oh, and yes, I'll anxiously be awaiting the DVD & documentary projects, more community involvement projects from all the guys, and maybe, just maybe we'll get that superbowl performance in 2009 or 2010. Jon did say he wanted to do that in one of his interviews earlier this year!

I'm all set for the arena bowl! Then it's gonna be a long fall/winter till the Soul season starts again. And of course watching all of the DVDs

I'm missing them already, and i just got back from last nights show at MSG!! We DO have a DVD to look foward to, can't wait! BUT, the guys really need a well earned rest. Enjoy, and come back soon!
