Thanks Deb, it just looked to me like it was scratched on the guitar, like with a sharp exacto knife or something. It didn't look "printed". I could be wrong, thanks for your answer!

It is to remind him of the two sisters he met whilst at the convent of the Jovial heart. Anna and Pat.

Jon plays a Takamine semi-acoustic 6 string. He will also play a 12 st acoustic which is I think another Takamine.

great guitars btw. but I'm rather fond of my Ibanez we've been friends now for going on 30 yrs.

Hi, welcome!
You seem to know alot about guitars. Quick question... some pics have Jon playing and the AP is on the guitar and other pics it is not. Can you tell if he has identical guitars???? Just wondering...

No, they're different instruments. Most musicians have several guitars on hand. that way if they break a string or the guitar goes out of tune, they can hand it off to a tech or pick up another instrument.
A musician of Richie's caliber tends to tour with about two dozen or so. Jon I believe packs around 6.
When me and my band go to a gig, I take two electric 6 strings (one a gibson the other a strat) One acoustic and two semi-acoustic. Our bassist brings 2.( a four string and a 5 string.)
And when you go to see a live bar band like us, you'll notice that between sets, we're putzing with our instruments. We're checking for tune, changing strings. or putting our heads together to decide what we're gonna do next or perhaps deciding where we're gonna get pizza at 2am.

Hope that helps you.

I just noticed one of your other posts.. would you be willing to send me 'Walks like a Man' too? I can play the silly thing. but when I've tried to find it at target, they're always out.

Thanks!
Siara

Daily Horoscope for May 25

Gemini

Today's Full Moon, a Lunar Eclipse, will have a big impact on your relationships during the next few months, so stand by. If the cracks have been starting to show in a partnership, this could be when they turn into major fault lines that demand action. Can they be repaired or do they spell the end of the line? It may feel like a crisis but that doesn't mean it really is one, so don't over-react.
