Bon jovi, Setlist a bit boring?

was looking at the setlist on the website, its the same old songs.. apart from the new ones
Why cant they change it a bit, like dry county, always, have a nice day, and more

cuz u get sick of hearing the same songs live we need something different

If you think it's boring, think about the band that sings some of the song in every concert for like the last 20 years....

But I heared Jon says that he doesn't get bored from songs as LOAP and IML... Fron the shows I have seen it is always slightly different. I like the fact that they play LOAP the same way for so many years (with the "so what?").

How disappointed would you be if you went to a Bon Jovi concert and they didn't play LOAP, IML, Wanted, etc. People expect to hear these songs, and to be honest I could never get bored hearing them. I think the setlists for each concert is very important Jon and he puts a lot of thought into them.

They do mix it up and include various covers as well....

I completely agree, Joe. That setlist is totally lame! Shitty ass country that he's trying to pass off as "poser rock." The guy needs to just retire cos he's washed up!

Guns still sound as hip and fresh as ever. I'd rather go to a concert where the music sounds badass and Axl knows how to entertain his fans! Bon Jovi blows kisses to the chubby middle aged women in hopes of them by his music.

Bon Jovi = Snooze City !!

Don't go to a Bon Jovi concert again then. I have seen them 7 times and I have never got bored with the songs.

GNR are on the cover of Rolling Stone, a pic from yesteryear no less. Fortunately, we get a variety of yesteryear + current. How fortunate for us Jovi fans that we've had the longevity of BJovi for 24+ years and still standing!

i have loved every Bon Jovi concert ive been to ,ive never found any of them boring ,i would not want them to not sing songs like living on a prayer and its my life ,because these are the songs the crowd love to join in and sing and i think its such a great atmosphere,i love every minute of it ,their concerts are the best.

i didnt mean the concert was boring but wouldnt u like the setlist to change a bit..

still playing the popular ones of course

He should start playin Guns N Roses covers..

It would seriously help his career.

i have been to a few concerts and the set lists were completely different ,they sang Always at one ,Have A Nice Day at another ,then the most recent at the o2 were new songs from Lost Highway and old ones too ,each tour is diferent .Have you been to any of their concerts?

They do change it up qutie a bit though, a lot more than most bands, and you gotta remember the last few shows have just been part of the promo tour.

but they do change it all the time, maybe not alot but they do!! for example at the dublin concert they played garageland from the box set and that was the 2nd time they had ever played it live and they also play dry county!

I do wish they'd play some of the bonus trax in the US concerts that make it onto the foreign relases -- some of those are great. Neurotica, anyone?!?

When I saw them last, they did Blood on Blood; hadn't heard that one in a while, and they did Captain Crash, which is more frequent, I guess, but still...

Bon Jovi has had many hits and I truly enjoy the old school rockin' tunes versus the new sappy stuff.He can rock the old songs all night long, but when it comes to the new ballads the show can get boring and sappy.Rock was made to rock and he should play most of his old songs that got him started.E from Va.

Um, you obviously haven't been listening to their new music. They have newer rockin tunes like Have a Nice Day, Who Says you Can't Go Home, Lost Highway, It's My Life, I Love This Town, Any Other Day, Just Older, Last Man Standing, etc.
Bon Jovi is not some reunion nostaglia act like the Police or some of the other 80s rock bands still trying to hang on. This band is still producing relevant music and they have a much larger fan base thanks to their newer music.
