I am happy for you!!! How was your week at school???? And did your girls(??) survive their week????

This weekend will be fun because I am getting together with old friends and eating pizza and going to the beer garden. Then off to star gaze in a much darker place than here. As a kid we lived in a rural setting without any lights. The sky is a beautiful place.

Our week was pretty good. The kids at school are great. The parents, not so much, but I have hope for training them :). My girlies are doing good. Fortunately for me, they both do well in school. The oldest started high school this year and is taking Japanese through BYU, so she stays pretty busy.

Okay, what is a beer garden? It sounds like fun! Are you far enough north to see the Northern Lights? I have ALWAYS wanted to go to Alaska and be able to see the Northern Lights.

We love star gazing. We stayed up late one night last year to watch a lunar eclipse and also caught a glimpse of..I think it was Saturn's rings that night with my daughter's telescope.

I know the feeling! Isn't this THE BEST time of the year?? I love fall & football.

I used to have seasonal depression when football was over in January/Feb. Then, this year, when I discovered BJ sometime in May and through them discovered Arena Football, I was so happy. I mean, football year round.

Seriously, the guy who thought that up ought to be given a Nobel Peace Prize :)

Ahh, a terrapin fan! Hey, it's all good. I just love college football. I'm a true blue WVU fan because half of my family went there. There are quite a few kids from NJ that go there too. My nephew said he used to see alot of tee shirts that said "THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW JERSEY AT MORGANTOWN. LMAO

Most of the UM is from New York and they used to say, "The University of Maryland at the G'Island" for Long Island. I try to keep up with what they are doing and how they are doing, but like I said, don't watch much anymore...also, too much FL sunshine to be inside watching ftball. Miami Dolphins are sort of big here, but only if they are winning...not the how the fans are for the Redskins at all...I can remember Redskins/Cowboys week as the biggest week of the year in DC!!!! Is it still like that now????
