Jon's house

I am not sure who you are asking 'how do you know this' to - maybe all this info you are wondering about haha but the reason I know this is his penthouse is because I read it in the paper that bought the top floor penthouse in the new museum building in the soho district of new york. I looked up the new museum building and sure enough it was in soho and listed as just being sold for 26.5 million - the rest of the penthouses that were for sale in that building were only about 5 million so it really is an assumption but a pretty good one I think. It was obviously furnished by someone else (the seller) because the pics were taken before he bought it. He may or may not have redone it. Hope this is not too confusing!

Didn't Jon and Richie both live in Rumson??

I think that is where Richie used to have a house. The one where he and Heather were married in. He bought it from some judge (the one that married them), but didn't he sell his jersey home?

I know Richie owns the house his Mom lives in at Point Pleasant in Jersey but he doesn't own any other within that state.

This is sooo funny -- everyone "thinking/guessing" that they know where Jon lives. So I'm going to throw my two cents in -- I'm 99% sure his Jersey house is actually in the township of Middletown. Everyone says Red Bank because I believe it's on the border. But, who knows.

That mansion sure looks like that one that was in the 60 minutes interview aired in Australia this year - probably just a holiday home - wow! ha!

My understanding is Red Bank is the major town in the area and Rumson and Middletown are small adjacent townships. Maybe someone from NJ could explain this better. I've been to all three while vacationing on the jersey shore.

Middletown is actually a very large town and is also a township (with other parts of the area included in it). There are two sections of Middletown North and South -- each having their own high school.(Someone please correct me if I am wrong). Red Bank is a small, artsy town which borders it. Rumson, also very close is a bit larger than Red Bank. All areas are beautiful, with Rumson and the area that Jon's house is located in, very upscale.

Jon's home is in Middletown. Red Bank and Rumson are close to Middletown. I have seen the outside of the house and it is beautiful. I believe in the 60 Minutes interview that aired in late spring/early summer that he and the family visit the Middletown house approximately one weekend a month. That was the home featured in the interview. The clinic that he and his wife founded is in Red Bank.

so they don't live in Red Bank full time? Where do they live mostly then, I thought his kids went to school down there.

They now live in the NY's penthouse.

Don't forget they have a house in the Hamptons too. But I believe they only use that during the summer.

No he never lived in East Rutherford. That is where Giants Stadium is. He lived in Rumson I think, and even before the band got real big maybe somewhere near Asbury Park?

Jon's mansion is in Red Bank on the Navesink River...they used to live in it full time but, about a year ago, they moved their family to NYC -(the 158 Mercer address) They kids go to school in New York...and they sometimes spend weekends at the house in Red Bank...summers are spent at their place in East Hampton.(which was featured, along with their Red Bank property, on the 60 minutes special...)

Richie still owns a place is LA (near Heather) He also owns a brand spankin new condo in Philly and apparently he owns his moms place in Point Pleasant, NJ.(A great place...if you've never vacationed there, I HIGHLY reccomend it!)

Neither have ever owned property in East Rutherford, though it IS the home of Giant Stadium- which is being torn down and a "new and improved" Giant Stadium is currently being constructed at that same location.

While childhood homes may have been located in Middletown, neither currently own property there. Middletown is NOT Rumson (where Jon's old mansion is...but he has since sold it) or Red Bank (where Jon's current mansion is...)
