Welcome to the gang, newbies!
Since Jovi's tour is all done and we have some time before any new material comes out, I thought I would help you weather the Jovi drought by posting a few songs you likely never heard before...(I know.. I know, when I discovered that there were some AWESOME Jovi tunes floating around that had never graced an album, I was shocked!!!)
This is a song that I have had so long, I don't really remember how I came across it. So, it's older, but still awesome in my opinion... Hope you enjoy it!

That is a great song. One of my favourites. If I'm not mistaken, it was problem written in the early 90's

I have no idea when it was written... I am thinking late 80's or early 90's..... like I said, I have had it so long, that I forget where I scored it from...

I love this song, as I have memories that connect to it. have you really listened to the lyrics? I wonder what inspired them to write this song. it's seems more like Richie's style to me, very bluesy...

FYI - If you search youtube with the key words Bon Jovi B side you'll find a bunch that were not added to albums. I just found these (learn something new every day - lol) and thought I'd add it.
Also has that great video "Miracle" of a young furry puppy Jon. Yum! |

I'll have to take a look after work, thanks for the link! My favorites are the Centerstage and a couple of the ones from England (Frank Skinner). And of course, Triumph is a classic, those that's not exactly an interview. I really admire the guys for doing Triumph. Ok, another item. Found this place that converts youtube (and other) videos into MP3 files that can be loaded onto your iPod. It's free. It's a little glitchy, but usually works fine.
First create folder (on desktop preferably) to save MP3 into; go on youtube (or other video site) and copy URL; paste URL into this program where it says then follow the instructions at that site (very easy); then when downloading write down the name of the song/group and the last 4 digits of the file name so you can find it (you'll see what I mean); then open that folder and COPY into iTunes, leaving original in folder (does not work if you cut); then name the song/group and sync with iPod. I have done this several times and it's amazing! Here is site: http://www.vidtomp3.com/index.php I know the above sounds complicated, but it's easier than I probably said it. |

theres another way
i use www.savetube.com saves google vids too saves them in flv format so you need something called total video converter to convert them, but theres a link to it on the site its all totally free and i have made a dvd of the concert i went to this year by saving the youtube vids and google vids i found. save the files to a folder or your desktop, you have to rename them from 'get video' by highlighting the filename, pressing f2 and calling it something.flv after saving, then open total video converter and drag file (s) you want to convert. it'll then change them to most formats like avi / wmv etc its really v easy! |

I know! I know! Pick me, Mr. Kotter (ha ha). It was an outtake from "These Days." As to why it didn't make the cut, my guess is because of "Diamond Ring" --- two songs on the same album about holy matrimony might have sounded too lovey dovey. |

Probably a fair statement, Misses B_az. Though, to be honest, I like wedding day quite a bit more than Diamond ring... It amazes me what songs make the album and which don't make the cut. What kind of voodoo do you think they use to determine which songs make it and which don't? IMO, some of their BEST songs EVER are ones that didn't make the album.(though I don't know how much of that is tied to the feeling that I am "getting away" with something that others will never even know existed...)

I know what ya mean with some songs making the cut and others not... some songs on the box set are REALLY good!!! songs like Diamond Ring[which is OK] are no where near as good as some other songs from that era that didnt make the cut... It makes me wish I had the key to the vault... You could bet I would be "accidentally" downloading stuff that they think is "crap" (HA! Like a Bon Jovi song could ever even be such a thing! LOL) to the internet to share with my Jovi sistahs!
