For example, Stubhub, ticketliquidator, ticketsnow, etc. I just don't understand how it's lawful, and quite frankly POSSIBLE to buy all of the tickets up WITHIN MINUTES of them going onsale! So, we are stuck between a rock and a hard place. If we want to go, we pay 2-3 times the ticket value. Wouldn't you think there would be a law against this? These ticket brokers have computer software that lets them block the computers so they can buy up the tickets.

E bay ticket sellers have always been the same, non of them are fans of the bands they are selling tickets for they are all just touts out to make a quick pound off the real fans. What e bay should do is ban the selling of tickets unless its for face value that would solve the problem.

With people like you around they will always be around. Well, like Maureen said, there was nothing available so she had no choice. I'm sure she didn't go straight to a scalper to buy tickets...but if you want to attend the BEST concert in town, sometimes you have no choice.

For the last three Bon Jovi concerts i went to, i HAD to buy from the scalpers because nothing else was left! I so agree with you there..I think there should be a ticket limit 4 tops and you have to pick them up at will call and show ID...its not fair to the rest of the people that want to go to the event...If all the tickets were hoarded by scalpers

My question is why oh why Ebay doesn't ban the selling of concert tickets? They have already done this with football tickets in the UK, so there is nothing to stop them. It will at least stop one medium of selling on the tickets at a higher price.
I'm sorry I wouldn't buy off scalpers - I would far rather be screwed by the fanclub - at least I'm keeping it in the family!

I just stumbled on a place called " Craigslist.com " that has people selling tickets on there and got 4 Hannah Montana tix that are 4th row for face vaule, which is unheard of for Hannah Montana tix. I can't wait to tell my 8YO daughter and my niece that not only are they going to get to see Hannah Montana after all but they are going to be 4th row! Maybe some of you who are having bad luck getting tix could check on Craig's list and see if you can find some cheap ones there. Hanna Montana just came here last Friday...Sold out...One parent paid 4000.00 for her daughter to see that concert...That is so totaly outragous..Im sure if they paid that much they could afford it..But thats just plain ridiculous

Wow did not realize that these tickets were so hard to get. sucks to see that greed has overtaken these people and the fans end up paying too much. I ended up buying too many tickets myself and will be parting with some but unlike these other people I will be parting with them for what they actually cost.so I guess there are still some descent people out there.

I dont agree with people buying tickets ahead of true fans and then flogging them on Ebay, but to be fair they saved the day for me also!
I just got two gold circle tickets for Manchester for only £40 more than they went on sale for.

I remember doing that for the Bee Gees but I wouldn't do it now at my age! LOL!! That was fine when I was in my late teens, early 20's but not now! I don't have any solutions to offer but just wish there was a more fair way of doing it.
