I was just on ticket master and the tickets are alot less than they were for "The Rock." Prices range from 45-129.50 for the most expensive. People are selling Bon Jovi tickets on e-bay for $200 and up a piece. Just something to think about.

I got on Ticketmaster this morning to try to get tix for the Dallas show with no luck, even though I logged on right at 10:00 a.m. when they went on sale. The tix there were $49.50-$129.50 before all of the extra fees that Ticketmaster adds on. So....I checked Ebay and got 2 tix for the Dallas show in row 13....which is FC seating.....for about $30 more than I would've paid if I would've bought them through the FC. It looks like I got myself a deal!

Wen, how much did you pay through e-bay? I love the boys, but I can't pay way more than what they are going for. I'm glad you are going to see them, you will have an awesome time.

Maybe I will try to do that. I logged on right at 10 too for tickets for tampa and the only seats they had were the nose bleed section. So I didn't get any tickets.

I can't speak for everyone else but I personally had better luck with E-Bay. I think on TM they were going to be close to $200 per ticket by the time I factored in all of the convenience fees, taxes, etc., and I ended up paying right at $225 a ticket on EBay and got 13th row from the stage....which is the same as FC seating so if you factor in the $50 that I would've had to have paid to be in the FC then I actually came out about even. Either way, I was satisfied with that price and felt it was worth it to see the band up close and personal.

Maybe you can talk someone into chipping in and giving you Bon Jovi tix for a Christmas present...just a thought. I so hope that you get to see them.

Don't get me wrong, it really ticks me off for people to join the FC and suck up the best tickets and then sell them on EBay but I felt that I had no other choice but to buy them off Ebay if I wanted to have decent seats and not pay $500 plus on a scalper-type website. In the long run I figured that once I would've factored in that $50 for the FC fee that it would've cost me around $200 per ticket anyway so I felt a little better about paying that for my tix. Either way, I'm tickled pink to be able to see the guys that up close and personal.

I got my tickets for the Detroit show on Friday with the pre-sale code. I was online trying for tickets & 2 tickets, floor seats, Richie side, row 17 came up & by the time Peaches & I thought about whether we'd want floor (where everyone seems to be taller than us), I lost them! So I guess the decision was made for me! But we did get 1st section, Richie side, row 13. I think those will be great & we just paid regular price plus TM fees. I would not be able to go if I had to pay scalper prices, nor fan club prices.

Hey, I'm glad you got to see them. I have seen Bon Jovi before but you're talking 20 years ago. I'm trying for the Philly show, but so far I keep getting nosebleeds behind the stage. If at first you don't succeed, try, try, again. ;-)

Ya know, there should be a law against those ticket scalpers buying up all of the tickets. Whats up with that? For the last three Bon Jovi concerts i went to, i HAD to buy from the scalpers because nothing else was left!

Isn't it called extortion? Or because they sell them on e-bay and practically hold the concert hostage until they get what they want, not qualify?

I completely agree with you. My daughter was extremely disappointed b/c the same thing happened with the Hannah Montana tickets in our area. That concert sold out in seven minutes! Now you please explain to me how a venue that holds 60K people can sell out in seven minutes if scalpers weren't online using their underhanded computer programs to scarf up all of the tickets. The tickets went on sale at 10:00 a.m. and I was online at 9:45 a.m. along with three other mom's and had my sister on the phone and STILL didn't get tickets. I left with her crying. I heard on the news later that week that there was some group in Arkansas that was suing Ticketmaster for letting that happen.

All I can say is I hate that I couldn't get tickets off ticketmaster but Ebay saved the day I got two really good tickets for $399 and on StubHub and SEVERAL over ticket broker websites the exact same tickets (same section and row) were $425 each!!!

I know....that is why I felt lucky to have gotten the tix that I got for $225 each....they were well over $500 on all of the other ticket broker sites that I checked on.

I just stumbled on a place called "Craigslist.com " that has people selling tickets on there and got 4 Hannah Montana tix that are 4th row for face vaule, which is unheard of for Hannah Montana tix. I can't wait to tell my 8YO daughter and my niece that not only are they going to get to see Hannah Montana after all but they are going to be 4th row! Maybe some of you who are having bad luck getting tix could check on Craig's list and see if you can find some cheap ones there.

So glad your girls won't be disappointed. The same thing happened in the Kansas City area and they are still talking about it on the news and the states attorney general is involved.

Thanks....and I wish the attorney general would get involved here as well. That is absolutely ridiculous! Ticketmaster's so called "safety measures" to protect us from the scalpers seems to protect the scalpers from the consumers...IMO. How on earth would an arena in our area that holds 60K people sell out in less than 7 mins if scalpers weren't sucking up all of the tickets???

I know, i HATE those ticket brokers! For example, Stubhub, ticketliquidator, ticketsnow, etc. I just don't understand how it's lawful, and quite frankly POSSIBLE to buy all of the tickets up WITHIN MINUTES of them going onsale! So, we are stuck between a rock and a hard place. If we want to go, we pay 2-3 times the ticket value. Wouldn't you think there would be a law against this?

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Aquarius

The emotional atmosphere is quite potent under this Lunar Eclipse, evoking a sense of crisis. The problems you've been experiencing with a certain person lately come to a head during the next fortnight, making you feel that you have to take drastic action or lay down the law. Yet this could make the situation worse than ever, especially if you act from a sense of panic or desperation. Take things gently and don't throw your weight around unless it's absolutely necessary.
