Jon's hair stylist

Could you just imagine sitting there in the beauty salon having your hair highlighted with all those ugly foils in your hair and in walks Jon Bon Jovi asking for a cut and color!

I was just going to post this! If Jon walked in while I was getting my hair foiled, I'd probably suffer cardiac arrest anyway, so I wouldn't be too worried about the foils in my hair! LOL!

Better yet....walking into a salon & finding Jon there with foils all over his head! LMAO!!!!!

You know, I am a hairstylist here in California, and in the hairstylists world, Sally Hershberger is considered a legend. She is famous for cutting Meg Ryan's short haircut some years ago. She is even a judge on the Bravo TV reality show, Shear Genius. I personally think Jon looks better than he has ever looked. He looks hot, yet at the same time mature and a more distinguished. I think Jon was just tired of having the blond hair look, and also tired of long hair in general. Now, I think Dorothea is a very attractive women in her own right, has her own style, but, being a hairstylist myself, I would love to see Dorothea get a new look herself. She doesn't need a color or even highlights, just a new haircut, I see layers in the front, and a little shorter length, I think it would make her facial features pop out more, cause she has a really nice facial structure, especially her eyes, some side bangs would help that alot, and her best facial feature, her eyebrows, she has I think the perfect eyebrow arch.
Well, enough of my ranting, I guess the hairdresser in me took over now, LOL. Just wanted to give my opinion from a hairstylist perspective. See yah!!

I agree with ya Rosa Dot has great eyebrows...A new cut would look good on her I agree also

Sally Hershberger has it going on. Wonder what Jon paid for his cut. I've heard of models paying SH like $600-800 for a cut, etc. Absolutely agree on Dot, I'd like to see her get a good cut. Somewhat layered (e.g. Toni&Guy infamous) and bangs do wonders for her (not the thick, blunt cut of bangs, but a soft layer). Something easy for her to maintain - but the cut is what matters.(I'd also like to see Richie get a good cut where it's super easy for him to maintain - and how to use the products. His hair is super-dry, except when it's done by a stylist. I've seen him w/good cuts and it makes a huge, huge difference, but he doesn't maintain it (probably cuz it's not that important to him).) I happen to like Jon w/gold blonde, I think it softens his face and takes years off him; and it so goes w/his skin & eyes. The brown, for me, emphasizes the age. And I like it funky short (you need to give him whisps here 'n there). He may just be giving it a respite for a while. But it all comes down to the cut, end of story. I liked Dorothea's haircut and styled when Jon appeared on the front cover of People Magazine in 2004 ??? The piece was called "Local Boy Does Good" and they did a photo shoot at their home in New Jersey. There was a really good picture of Jon and Dorothea sitting on an antique blue sofa very casually and it's the best I've seen her hair. I'm sure a stylist worked on it for the photo shoot.

Can't believe I'm agreeing with you here but I also feel that Dorothea's hair needs something done to it. I especially hate when she wears it covering one eye (what's up with that anyways??) Maybe now that Jon got his hair a bit more updated, Dorothea will follow. I do like Jon's new hair though. I think it makes his hair look healthier. I'd still love to run my fingers through his hair!

When Jon first cut his hair and made it darker, i loved it bedcause it reminded me of the "Destination Anywhere" era. But now, i'm looking back at some pics, and i'm missing the longer, blonder hair. Hey Jon, isn't it a time for another change?? lol

yap i miss the long blonde hair too... don´t like this new look at all. It makes him look older and you can see he´s losing some hair on the back of his head and on front too. He covered it with the long hair. It looked better.
