While I feel bad for the guy, because, clearly, he feels like he has been wronged, he took his petition to the American Songwriters Association and was promptly laughed out of the room. The man's song is called "Man, I love this team" and he is claiming that Jon, Rich and Billy Falcon ripped it off when writing "I love this town". Are they a little similar? Maybe...a little....but I truly believe that "I love this town" is an original song. Does the guy feel like he was ripped off? he does and it's a free country. He can feel however he chooses, but he took his grievances to the American Songwriters Assoc and they patted him in the head and told him to forget it. The songs were different, musically, lyrically, etc. Crazy crazy stuff that a lawyer would file a $400 Billion suit.

I'm sure that if someone got really bored they could come up with a dozen songs, that could be "stolen" off of this one. It's probably just somebody looking for a little publicity at the guys expense (literally).
