Bo Derek a good fit for new network

I was always a fan of Bo Derek. But the first time she was introduced on a talk show in the 70s I thought "Bo" would be a football star--I think, on Merv Griffin or Johnny Carson. So on comes this petite funny girl, unassuming and casually dressed. I saw 10 later on, and heard she was a horsewoman par excellence. I had always been a John Derek fan. I admit the first movie I saw was in 1951, Saturday's Hero. Bo is thought to have been a Trilby to his Svengali but he photographed her beautifully, worshipped her, probably was her puppet--their letterhead joked about it. They were married for 25 years, so that should say something. When he died, she was broke, but moved on. I was sad when Wind On Water was canceled after 3 episodes. Look at Dyan Cannon, beautiful and sixty-something. So Bo's prettier and a better actress than ever, at 49 looking 35, playing the consummate villainess. I hope after the 13-week run she'll be given roles. Her name is already becoming a household word.

I'm sorry but Bo Derek can't act. She sucks. It's like she's just reading her lines all the time with no emotions. Her movements look unnatual too.

I not only wonder about her acting abilities...(her character seems rather monotone...boring...) but about the role she is playing and the implications it gives about her moral character... What does this implicate to impressionable audiences? That a pretty face is all one needs in life?

why not she can't act? her character is awsome.it's difficult to play such an evil woman.i love her act especially in "Hot Chocolate" and "FH".I have so much fun with the love moments with William.She's great...and SHE IS STILL A 10!!!:):):)
