The Twin Cities Business Journal has the following: The Zagat Restaurant Survey released its top-five ranked restaurants in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area this week, awarding La Belle Vie the No. 1 spot. Four other high-end Minneapolis restaurants 112 Eatery, Alma, Lucia's and Vincent rounded out the top five. You, on the other hand, are writing about cheese curds in Roseville. Nice work....great paper

Looking forward to checking out Bayport BBQ - good luck to the owners! We were huge fans of Billy Blue's BBQ when it was in San Antonio - before Houston (both gone now). We were so sad when it closed. They used pecan wood and it was oh, oh so awesome! True story - when the waitress brought my ribs, I had an asthma attack, the smoke was so wonderful!!! Only time ever I've enjoyed needing my inhaler!!! Oh, I miss them so much. True Texas bbq and of course blues, to make it complete. The whole scene just takes a person back to simpler decades.

I've eaten there several times and inconsistancy in the key word...I've had ribs that were perfect, I've had ribs that were way underdone, I've had ribs that were so overdone, I could have pounded a nail with them....the beans reminded me of Bush's with leftovers added...not worth the drive...Market BBQ is better..so is Famous Daves....with the hotter than spit sauce...the sauce at Bayport is like a vinegrete...it doesn't stick and just runs off.The bread is good if you can gnaw though the crust....Also, he had a buffet this past weekend that was illegal...I told him so and he chuckled and said," Yep, breaking the law...I'm not worried about it." I guess the customer doesn't matter. Arrogance has no place in customer service...comtempt is not appropriate...

You could have died. I am so thankful you could share that horrific experience with and and the evil restauruant that was breaking the law did not kill you.

Will OBammer's new dietary rules affect this restaurants menu? I saw him on TV the other day preaching about obese kids while he downed his second chili dog. Can he bring Attorney General Electric there?
