So, let me get this straight: the Orlando Sentinel is reporting that TMZ is making a claim? Can't Orlando Sentinel verify this itself? Is it really news worthy to say what someone else is reporting or is it just cheaper and less prone to litigation than doing a google search?

I think it is interesting that this is just now breaking that she is BIlly Bob Thornton's daughter after other people commented on it first on the original story. COuldn't they dig this info up all on their own at the Orlando Sentinel. Seems they were reading the comments in order to pick up on this headline.

I would agree with this statement, TMZ is not exactly an icon of integrity and accuracy in journalism.

It is irrelevant who this person's father is. It has absolutely nothing to do with the death of this child. In the article is says that they have been estranged for a long time. The media will print anything no matter how ridiculous it is and has nothing to do with the story.

The family doesn't care but the public cares whenever a celebrity's name comes up.

This just happened Friday, I doubt she's even been arraigned yet.

The DA will want to wait for the autopsy results before they decide on any charges, I would think.

well, this means another baby killer in central florida will have a dream team of lawyers, probably paid for old billy bob, to get this bimbo off a murder charge. god bless that baby and family, i hope this girl gets the death penalty, celebrity relative or not. who cares if she is related to a celebrity? not going to get her off is she murdered!
