That speach was politically motivated and was directed at his white "ignorant" voter base. If Obama wanted to be like "Bill Cosby" then why did he let a racist (Rev. Wright) baptise him and his children. This man is a political con artist and was doing what he had to do like the Racist Reverend said in one of his interviews. Jackson and Sharpton are great examples of the true color Obama is without all that smoke and mirrors he's learned to master.

Like many Americans last November, I voted for change. I had hope. I no longer have hope since the president I voted for never mentioned a fraction of the agenda he now espouses. I did not vote to lower my standard of living, humble as it may be. Nor did I ask to jump into the economic abyss in order to "save" the planet.

When the economic chickens of this agenda do come home to roost, many people will change their perception of the whole quasi-religious scam known as "climate change." Once you view the fall you're about to take, it's natural to turn around and take a good look at who is pushing you.

It is so good to see that people are finally seeing through the pre-election BS. I did not vote for "change", I voted for the candidate who said what he meant and meant what he said, and didn't flip flop every time it suited the agenda. It's a shame so many were duped. I just hope we all "survive" the next four years, and have some money left in our pockets by then. Hopefully, we can make some "changes" in the 2010 elections.

Where the heck is the job creation he talks about? Will it balance out the jobs we've lost? Remember, this is the man who commented that "we didn't want those jobs anyhow", when IBM outsourced to another country (like IBM pays chump change!). I have been unemployed since July 2008 and am terrified by what I am seeing happen in Washington.

So sorry to hear about your job situation. My husband and I are pretty secure in our jobs, as secure as you can be anyway, but people all around us are losing their jobs. One is even a research scientist with a large pharmaceutical company. He'd worked for them for 20 years. And now with this new cap & trade bill, we are going to be taxed to the poor house.

All informed Americans know there's NO global warming, CO2 is NOT a pollutant, and cap and trade will empty our pockets and kill the U.S. economy while further enriching and empowering Obama and his accomplices -- Gore, Soros, Goldman Sachs, Obama’s Chicago Climate Exchange friends, GE, the United Nations, etc.-- all at our expense and at the expense of our children and grandchildren.

Let's make sure we remember who is voting in favor of the abomination that is cap and trade. They'll have to answer to us for killing our businesses, taking away our jobs, and helping Obama enslave us with his Ponzy scheme.

Obama and his accomplices know that there's NO global warming. That's why they changed "global warming" to "climate chage," which made the hoax even more ridiculous! Even the words "climate change" are NONSENSE. By its very nature, climate changes. The climate on earth has ALWAYS CHANGED and will continue to CHANGE, no matter what we do.

And it’s even more absurd to claim that humans are responsible for climate change! It's like saying "Wet Rain" and then blaming humans for rain being wet! No matter what we do, rain will always be wet!

But Obama and his accomplices have been working at robbing us and enslaving us with this hoax for too long to just let us go unharmed. They are trying to pass the bill as fast as possible, before more people realize what's happening.
