I can't agree with the comment on the musical arrangement at the top of this article. I thought the smaller five piece band was beautiful. I love it when orchestrations are broken down like this and you can hear each individual instrument clearly it sounded very real and live.

Agree completely with Linda Winer, except her disappointment with the quintet as opposed to a full orchestra. They were just fine, and they revealed the deliberate but at times a bit monotonous reptitions in Sondheim's otherwise brilliant and moving score. Great production of a masterful piece of musical theatre. The acting and singing were flawless, and lighting and computer effects were spectacular yet perfectly integrated, adding an extra layer of pleasure to perception. Be sure to see it!
