Federal Reserve holds key rate at 2 percent

The Federal Reserve, caught between mounting job losses and rising inflation, held key interest rates steady today hoping it will be enough to heal a sick economy.

good for weaker dollar? good for inflation? good for higher inflation? good for banks? good for banks. demand destruction in oil should start killing inflation. no need for a rate increase for now. dollar gained on euro. they can't hike. i see the euro tanking against the dollar. exports, especially grains will benefit, along with shippers. what do you think?
