The economy shifted to a higher gear in the spring, growing at its fastest pace in nearly a year as foreign buyers snapped up U.S. exports and tax rebates spurred shoppers at home.

See? Giving the money to the people stimulates growth. Higher taxes stifle growth. Democrat = Higher Taxes Republican = lower taxes...more growth

did you guys see, or for that matter get the windfall from, the natural gas yesterday? holy crap that was good!$$$ financials and reit's are rebounding like shaq. whoever's whining about the economy isnt reading the right papers.
