Yup, his managed bailout doesn't sound very libertarian to me. I was a little hopeful when he started speaking out against the FED but it doesn't look like he strayed too far. He needs to do a little more reading at mises.org

Greenspan is a crook!
He is always stealing credit for the economy that Paul Volker created and built for the USA!
Immediately after being made chairman of the federal reserve, Greenspan started doing strange things. When Volker questioned greenspan about it, Greenspan openly stated that he did not care about the US ecomony. He was going to do whatever the big business powerbrokers wanted, and that was to loosen up money supplies to create a false boom! Volker complained and told Greenspan to have a back bone and refuse! GREENSPAN WAS TOO BIG A WUSSIE TO CARE ABOUT ANYTHING EXCEPT KISSING BUTTOCKS!!!

I may be prejudiced, as I recommended Volker to Pres. Carter, and Pres. Ronald Reagan! I DID HEAR GREENSPAN SAY HE DIDN'T CARE ABOUT THE US/ conversation described above.
