Around 20 African-Americans heckled Barack Obama at a rally here Friday, screaming chants and holding up placards accusing the White House hopeful of selling out the black community.

I heard this on the radio, the television news must not have been there.

I have a bad feeling about this guy. He is promising more than he can deliver.
The black, community as a whole, are depending on him to change their lives in a quick and forceful manner. This will not be acceptable to the rest of the population that didn't vote for him. If he is slow to promote change in a methodical manner some will not be patient. This is a formula for civil unrest. |

They were present just conveniently not paying attention. |

It ought to help clarify the fact that Obama is not running for President on behalf of any particular race, sex, religion, interest group, etc. If you are running on issues and a true effort to solve problems - including racism - you are going to find supporters and opponents as diverse as the country is.
Blacks, whites, blues, greens, browns all have a chance to make up their own minds about the choice they have this November. For the most part, I think those seriously interested in the future of the country, in their children and grandchildren, and in restoration of the vital leadership role that America has played in the world will see a simple choice. Lets vote for the smart ones this time. |

The 'Brownshirts' had an agenda.
The 'Wiki' effect is about a creative reality. Keep the printer on standby, the children will ask,'how did this happen ?'. It looks like 'class warfare' in the making. |

Both sides are working the race baiting and fear mongering angles.
The Congress needs to go. Fly Over America needs a plan. |

hopeless is more like it, and change will be all you will have after he picks your pocket. But by all means vote for him if you want to. |

What do Osama and Obama have in common? They both have friends that bombed The Pentagon. (Yes, I know I stole that from El Rushbo) |

Sad but very true.

African Americans in genetal have little regard or respect for one another. You will see this more so in African Americans who come from poor circumstances in the South and you do not see it among African Americans who have a graduate degree. In general, though, for example black nurses do not treat black patients with respect. African American parents tend to exhibit more violence and disregard towards their offspring than other racial groups in a similar socioeconomic environment. While violence increases for all racial groups in a lower socioeconomic environment, it increases more so if the people are African American.

Less than 14% of the American population is African American and that includes the children. If only African Americans were voting for Senator Obama, he would never win; even if every single person in the African American community voted for him. Senator Obama has a lead because the American people are voting for him; and obviously they do not care what racial group his father was from. They are voting for him because of Senator Obama's own merits as a decent honest man. The one thing that worries me about him is his great inexperience but I have a feeling that he will catch on fast.

I know of African American attorneys who are not respected by some black people. They are being accused of "trying to act white". I think in years to come this will change and I wonder how much of it is pure jealousy. Let them try to make it through law school. I comment Senator Obama for simply taking a short break and "getting back to work".

Was it not Ears running mate that said the presidency does not lend itself to on the job training? And I am curious as to the merits that entitle this candidate even the slightest consideration for Commander In Chief. Oh forgive me, he was a community organizer, my mistake, you know kind of like Al Sharpton. |

Why is it anti-American to call Ayers a terrorist?
Why is it Irresponsible to call ACORN criminal? Both Are. OBAMA runs with a dangerous crowd. |
I get your point but the alternative is even worse. I don't think that Gov. Palin was a good choice. I cannot imagine why he chose her except in an effort to appeal to the women voters. With Senator McCain's advanced age, even though he appears to be in good health, there is a good chance that the Vice-President may have to step into the presidency. Senator Obama has some very good points, one of which being health care. The other being that we need to concentrate our efforts and financial resources towards our own country and less to other countries such as Iraq. |

John Lewis is irresponsible.
The government should not work for anyone. The 'my equal time' abusers are sick. This is the creed of ACORN. |
