Around 20 African-Americans heckled Barack Obama at a rally here Friday, screaming chants and holding up placards accusing the White House hopeful of selling out the black community.

I have a bad feeling about this guy. He is promising more than he can deliver.
The black, community as a whole, are depending on him to change their lives in a quick and forceful manner. This will not be acceptable to the rest of the population that didn't vote for him.
If he is slow to promote change in a methodical manner some will not be patient.
This is a formula for civil unrest.

It ought to help clarify the fact that Obama is not running for President on behalf of any particular race, sex, religion, interest group, etc. If you are running on issues and a true effort to solve problems - including racism - you are going to find supporters and opponents as diverse as the country is.

Blacks, whites, blues, greens, browns all have a chance to make up their own minds about the choice they have this November.

For the most part, I think those seriously interested in the future of the country, in their children and grandchildren, and in restoration of the vital leadership role that America has played in the world will see a simple choice.

Lets vote for the smart ones this time.

The 'Brownshirts' had an agenda.
The 'Wiki' effect is about a creative reality.
Keep the printer on standby, the children will ask,'how did this happen ?'.
It looks like 'class warfare' in the making.

“NEWS FLASH”~~~~~~~~~
“John McCain Campaign”~ deliberately sending “Misleading Absentee Ballot Applications” to registered “Democrats and “American Citizens” that have donated to Senator Obama's Campaign.~~~~~~~~~

Subject: Caging ~~~~~
Date: Fri, 19 Sep 2008 03:07:32 +0000 ~~~~~~~~~~
The story is all over Progressive Talk Radio today about the McCain campaign sending absentee ballot applications to registered democrats or people that have donated to Obama's campaign. These ballots are deliberately misleading and have postage paid return addresses that are for an election clerk that is outside of your city or town. What this will end up doing is either having your vote not counted, or if you return one of these, they will cite you for election fraud, saying that you already voted absentee.~~~~~~~~~
These ballots are only being sent out in 'purple states' and this is a big deal.. This is called voter caging, and is a huge problem.~~~~~~~~~
The McCain campaign is stealing this election as we speak. Please get this information out to as many people as you can, and tell anyone you know who has received one of these ballots that they need to contact their city election clerk or the supervisor of elections immediately.~~~~~~~~~
Also call the local media and let them know what is going on.~~~~~~~~~
The main stream media is never going to cover this so we have to depend on our ground campaign to get the word out to our voters.~~~~~~~~~

Just Because He Is Part Black ~ Senator Obama ~~~~~~~~
On Topix’s Thread ~ McCain Supporters stated,“African Americans are voting for Barack Obama just because he's part black”!~~~~~~~~
What’s wrong with that ~ why not?~~~ Drevelyn Minor has “WITNESSED”, in this country.~~~~~~~~~
Black Men being pulled over by the police everyday just because they are black.~~~~~~~~~
Black Men passed over for promotions on jobs just because they are black.~~~~~~~~
Black Men stereotyped as being criminals just because they are black.~~~~~~~~
Americans Citizens ~ Thousands of you won't be voting for Senator Obama just because his father is black!~~~~~~~~~
However, you do not seem to have a problem with the above actions stated to you. Stereotypes of the African American Men just because they are Black.~~~~~~~~~
African American with Muslin Roots:~~~~~~~~~
NOW HEAR THIS ~ White Americans work daily and go to church with African-Americans Men and Women with MUSLIM ROOTS~~(It Is What It Is!)~~~~~~~~
Our Ancestors (Slaves) did not just change their names they also changed their religion.~~~
Historically, the English Slave Owners only enslaved Non-Christians, and not in particular, Africans. In the United States, 1800’s, a slave could become free by converting to Christianity...~~~~~~~
So, what is the problem with Obama having a “Muslim Name” & “Muslim Roots” and being raised as most African Americans in the United States as Christians with Muslim Roots..~~~~~~~~
“America” was built with the blood, sweat, tears and whippings to the “Black Slave Men’s Backs” and now a descendent of those same slaves has a chance to lead the same country out of another difficult period in America’s History. Unfortunately, this has plagued most of our Americans Households.~~~~~~~~~
Still in this country there are many “White Americans” who do not even consider Blacks to be “PEOPLE OR EQUAL”,~~~~~
This country where “Black People” were not allowed an “EDUCATION” to enhance their lives and become Self Sufficient.~~~~~~~~~
This country where “Black People” were not allowed to “DRINK WATER” from the same water fountains that White People used.~~~~~~~~~
This country, where “Black People” were not allowed to “EAT” in the same restaurants as White People.~~~~~~~~~
This country where “Black People” were not allowed to even “VOTE”,~~~~~~~~
Yes, I'm “VOTING” for Senator Obama for President of the Unites States!~~ But, it's not just because he is part black, but because he is HOPE, he is CHANGE!~~~~~~~~~
Obama for President and Biden for Vice President~~ 2009
hopeless is more like it, and change will be all you will have after he picks your pocket. But by all means vote for him if you want to.

African Americans in genetal have little regard or respect for one another. You will see this more so in African Americans who come from poor circumstances in the South and you do not see it among African Americans who have a graduate degree. In general, though, for example black nurses do not treat black patients with respect. African American parents tend to exhibit more violence and disregard towards their offspring than other racial groups in a similar socioeconomic environment. While violence increases for all racial groups in a lower socioeconomic environment, it increases more so if the people are African American.

Less than 14% of the American population is African American and that includes the children. If only African Americans were voting for Senator Obama, he would never win; even if every single person in the African American community voted for him. Senator Obama has a lead because the American people are voting for him; and obviously they do not care what racial group his father was from. They are voting for him because of Senator Obama's own merits as a decent honest man. The one thing that worries me about him is his great inexperience but I have a feeling that he will catch on fast.

I know of African American attorneys who are not respected by some black people. They are being accused of "trying to act white". I think in years to come this will change and I wonder how much of it is pure jealousy. Let them try to make it through law school. I comment Senator Obama for simply taking a short break and "getting back to work".

Was it not Ears running mate that said the presidency does not lend itself to on the job training? And I am curious as to the merits that entitle this candidate even the slightest consideration for Commander In Chief. Oh forgive me, he was a community organizer, my mistake, you know kind of like Al Sharpton.

I get your point but the alternative is even worse. I don't think that Gov. Palin was a good choice. I cannot imagine why he chose her except in an effort to appeal to the women voters. With Senator McCain's advanced age, even though he appears to be in good health, there is a good chance that the Vice-President may have to step into the presidency.
Senator Obama has some very good points, one of which being health care. The other being that we need to concentrate our efforts and financial resources towards our own country and less to other countries such as Iraq.

John Lewis is irresponsible.
The government should not work for anyone. The 'my equal time' abusers are sick. This is the creed of ACORN.
