Goofy kid names, but then again who doesn't do that now. Poor kids.

If McCann does win, it would be nice to see a Karen Valentine look-a-like in the White House.

Of all the things to comment on - you pick Sarah's children's names? How about foreign policy? How about the need for a strong reform in America? How about Sarah's policy on abortion rights? Her lack of experience? Her past JOB related decissions?

Might as well end your comments with MILF - if you are going to be so shallow about the state of our Nation...

only my 2 cents~

What a completely uncredible choice. McCain has essentially handed this election to Obama/Biden. Thanks

You know, looking like she does - who cares? Perhaps when she walks into a room, the chest-pounding men of this world might recognize a pretty lady and start acting like gentlemen.(Yeah, I know, the Muslims will want a burka thrown on her.)

In reality, she is a breath of fresh air and actually stands for something - like life. Welcome, Lady Sarah. Your nation awaits.

I think it is a wise choice by McCain. Lets take a look at the so called change Obama is talking about, Biden has been a Senator since the Nixon administration.....How does that equate to change? Sounds like the same old same old to me. Palin on the other hand has integrity, smarts and doesn't put up the any crap, she'll make one hell of a VP, she is exactly what this country needs. There is only one President that wasn't a former Govenor, JFK (just thought I would throw that in the pot)........

Palin looks like Sally Fields - Okay so now Gidget is running for VP. There are no real Hillary supporters who would be be tempted to vote for this woman. She is against the basic things that Hillary women are for - she is AGAINST choice; she lauds snow mobiles (ugh); it looks like she has pushed off the care of her Down's syndrome child on her daughter (behind her on the stage her poor daughter is standing barely able to manage holding this baby)(the daughter didn't choose to have a special needs baby but it looks like this woman is sticking her daughter with the care of this kid)-(why wasn't the husband holding the baby - one imagines he was some part of the decison to have this kid)- And really those fundie supporters of McCain - are they really going to be happy with a woman a heartbeat away from the presidency - the Evangelicans are mostly misogynists anyway - I don't think this choice helps McCain - I can't imagine any self respecting Hillaryite who would vote for Palin no way no how - Funny some Hillary supports did actually like McCain himself (didn't he use to be a maverick and pro-choice?) The choice of Palin (she is awful) just helps Obama/Biden
I will vote for this woman. As a woman I find it exciting to see a woman that looks and acts like a woman. One who loves her family, takes care of herself(alot of you women could use her as a mold of what you should look like), cooks, runs a state, has been an executive and has truly made leaps and bounds for her state in 2 short years. She has more experience than Obama for God's sake and he is running for President. For the first time in my life I will be proud to vote for John McCain and for the first time I will vote Republican. It is very exciting.

This was a nonsensical choice. It will all bear out unless we end up with another Dan Quayle situation. BTW I am a stay at home Mom who left corporate 7 years ago. My husband is also a veteran. She is no Condi Rice. What a shame.

The lady has more leadership than half the jerks in congress and more than the candidates for president and veep of the other party. And for comparison, a lot more than the other woman and SHE LIKES GUNS, TOO, HOT DAMN!!!!! barack and joe haven,t even had experience as boy scout leaders and the prior president of the 90's, he had so much going for him, he let osama bin laden get away, several times.

I was still debating whether I should stick with Dem (which I typically do) and vote Obama or go with McCain this year. His VP choice help me make the decision. Go McCain/Palin. Democrats pick a very lousy candidate this year.

Wow, I read this article and all I got from it was oil, oil, oil, Alaska, pipeline. I guess we're electing to line the pockets of the Republicans once again.“A women of faith.” I bet she goes to church every Sunday but then has the public service commissioner dismissed for not firing her ex-brother-in-law. How cool is that? What a stupid choice.

No, Sarah is prettier than Dan Quayle or Condi Rice. She'll do just fine.
