I have read a great deal about the McCain marriage issue. I find it to be old news and having nothing to do with today's issues. When John McCain returned from Nam he was a different man...both physically and mentally,(PTSD?). At the same time Carol McCain was not the same woman...both physically and mentally..(PTSD from accident?) Neither of them were the same person they were when they married. Many marriages ended when the men (and women) came home from the horrors of war...it has always been so. Many men have come home to find their wives involved with someone else, and some men became involved with others while away. Women as well. The McCain marriage was stressed and was unable to be fixed. Another casualty of war. It has nothing to do with family values...if so then half of the country is guilty...including past presidents. The three parties..John, Cindy, and Carol... have worked together to raise seven well adjusted and successful children...that speaks far more for family values than the breakup of a marriage.

Here's the real problem...putting a favorable "spin" on undesirable behavior when its your canidate....and that applies to both political parties. When we do that to "win", we all lose. It has nothing to do with candidates..or parties..or politics. A home cannot be "wrecked" by one person...only by all parties involved. Unless you were in the home with John and Carol you have no idea of the dynamics involved. If they were unable to fix their marriage then the fault lies with them all....if you have to "blame" anybody in the first place.

Her suggestion finalized Bush's decision . She is nothing more than a token! Any decision Bush makes must first be approved by Cheney

The half-brother-in-law of a man who is the fourth cousin twice-removed of Joe Schlumpf formerly of Eastern Bumblefuck, New Jersey has decided to vote for Obama. Story considered big news.

One more question how can Obama be the 1st black president?? Did he not have a white mother? http://theconservativearmyforumreview.podOmat... The race is not about color - but, to answer, during times of slavery, a person was considered a "negro" if he or she had one drop of "negro blood." Even some Blacks owned 'almost white' slaves. During the early 1900s a lot of technically black women could and did pass as white and sometimes married unsuspecting white men...for all we know, one of you ancestors or mine.

I,ll take the guy that left the stain on the dress and invested in some low end condos in Arkansas before the guy that is responsible for the deaths of some 300 000 people and the ruin of our economy while his family realized enormous profits. You need a 3/4 majority. In the Senate, you have a 50/50 split with 1 independent (who campaigns for McClueless) who is counted as a Democrat. You need 60/40 just to stop a filibuster so the Republicans have kept the Senate tied up in procedural maneuvers (the same ones they threatened to eliminate when they were in charge) for going on two years now.

Keating Five...yes I've heard about that..and it turned out McCain wasn't as involved as you are implying he was. As for the drug theft...yep, I've heard that one too. I can't tell you how much I admire a person who has had an addiction to pain killers...and was able, through hard work, not only to overcome it, but to speak publicly about it in the hope of giving those currently struggling with the problem hope of recovery. I think more people should know about this...not just what the spinners say...but the real story.
