3 Listening to the news, I heard that Senator Obama stated a view of some residence in Pennsylvania that had lost their jobs more than 20 years ago. It appears he characterized them as being "bitter". Hillary declared that was not her view of those who hit hard times. She claims that "As I travel around Pennsylvania, I meet people who are resilient, who are optimistic, who are positive who are rolling up their sleeves. They're working hard every day for a better future for themselves and their children. Pennsylvanians don't need a president who looks down on them. They need a president who stands up for them, who fights for them." I believe that those that Obama referred to had once demonstrated what Hillary declared, but many years ago and without help from our government. Anyone in their position, everywhere in the world, should feel "bitter", and as if the government let them down. Perhaps Hillary should apologize for NAFTA which contributed to their perils. I am impressed that as both Obama and Hillary campaigned throughout this great nation, only he is respondent to the needs of those that have been so ignored that they feel bitter. Yes, there are many bitter souls in America and we need a President that understands, is in touch, and adheres and is determined to correct those worries. One must identify the pain before they can cure it. I am not so shocked that Obama stated this particular comment as I am that his opponents did not realize this problem. America has turned their heads on the strugglers. Hillary has campaigned and have not heard them, she says "Well, that's not my experience. As I travel around Pennsylvania, I meet people who are resilient, who are optimistic, who are positive who are rolling up their sleeves. They're working hard every day for a better future for themselves and their children. Pennsylvanians don't need a president who looks down on them. They need a president who stands up for them, who fights for them." McClain does not acknowledge it, he says "It shows an elitism and condescension towards hardworking Americans that is nothing short of breathtaking," McCain adviser Steve Schmidt told Politico. "It is hard to imagine someone running for president who is more out of touch with average Americans." We all, respectively, have opinions, but we need to stand together as Americans and change the direction we have been headed for years. Bill Clinton was a treasure of a president in his era and deserves high recognition for a job well done. Now is a new era, and if candidates are so out-of-touch with the needs of all the people, from those who lost jobs more than 20 years ago in the beautiful land of Pennsylvania and throughout the USA, to the elite in Washington DC, we all need a President that can answer our call anytime during the day. I wish Hillary and John McClain would put people before politics. We need something different, we need change, we need someone that understands the moods of all people in the USA, and are determined to make a change in the lives they have encountered throughout their campaign. It appears revalent that Hillary and McClain does not attentively pay attention to the needs of the people. If they do not pay attention, they cannot fix their problem. ---------- It's Tax Time! 2 Why would people be offended by the truth? I'm starting to think that those that are offended are the 28% of the population that support Bush despite an awful economy, lowest dollar value since the depression, lowest consumer confidence rating since Carter, record deficits, quagmire in Iraq, decreasing civil rights, and record fuel costs. Why would people be bitter? Years of promises without results? Obama is right. I guess people just don't like being told the truth. You'd rather have a politician blow smoke up your butts. |

2 I'm not voting for Obama either. Stop looking for stuff that isn't there. He could be blue and his name could be Papa Smurf...and he still wouldn't have my vote. I don't trust him. |

2 HILLARY is NO BETTER. She makes Hanoi Jane look conservative. Another one who doesn't want to lead America but wants to CONTROL it. MCCAIN is the last traitor of the three. He was a hero in the Viet Nam era but has abandoned his values. He is NO DIFFERENT than the other two. People who think he's "moderate" need to get their heads examined. I'm BITTER because my town has been overrun with illegals who have totally trashed it. I'm BITTER because people are no longer looking to better themselves, they want to live as who--es off of the government. They want to steal from those who are thrifty, those who have taken risks in the pursuit of wealth, those who want to live FREE. They want to take our right to bear arms, our right to choose LIGHT BULBS, for g-d's sake...These 3 are the 3 stooges. WAKE UP! |

2 So he said that he thinks the small towns are bitter, are you not? yes you are, and you have every right to be, lost of jobs, economy at the lowest level and things given yerterday being taken away the next day is enough to be bitter, so why not be bitter? it is your right. ATTACK, this is the whole problem with the people, people are looking to attack anyone to blame the dirty deeds on, Why didn`t anyone blame Bush? Bush has taken from this country and dragged this country thru the mud and also Bush has put this country in jeoperdy a many times and I see no one trying to blame him, no one has tried to impeach him for breaking the laws or changing the laws right in our faces, was Bush faulted for being in that Eeron mess no, oh it was a honest mistake on his part, yea right! This is who should be attacked and this is who the country should have been trying to get rid of him. So now we need to stand together and find peace, I think that being under Bush`s hands and living in his world is enough to be BITTER!!!! So why not be bitter? it is okay to have this bitter taste in our mouth from all the bull sh-- that has been shoved down our throats, I`m bitter and I`ll get over it, it has been 8 long years of the same ole sh-- so I`m gettin tired of it. Yes I am bitter, not at the new opponents but at the old Bush`s way, so get over it, dang!!!!! |

1 Wow looks like the BO campaign told their hired guns to try and stop this on the internet. LOL they crawled out of the woodwork overnight. BO is arrogant and out of touch. He is a divider and the truth came out for the whole country to see. You and the rest of his supporters need to talk off those rose colored glasses/ |
Hillary will respond in any way she thinks the voters want to hear. She lies so much, it makes me sick to realize how many stupid Hillary supporters there are out there that believe her B.S.. If we were to require to pass an I.Q. test before we voted, 99% of Hillary supporters would fail and not be allowed to vote. |
