Did you see how one of them seized upon the idea of getting a break for college tuition, while propagating the myth that is is only provided for african-americans? In other words, as long as the Assistance is for HER it is acceptable. Just as long as it is provided for her. There are forums with a far greater intelligence quotient. They choose to not admit their racism in assuming they are entitled to it but not african-americans.

This isn't a top story next to the Madrid plane crash. This is the media throwing everything in the ring for Obama. How F'en manipulative the media has become, bush league, real bush league. Who is Toby Keith and what does his support mean?

Mike, Gunner, TBird, Carol, and a few others are the only ones worth responding to, as they are logical and reasonable in their discourse. Most of the others are histrionic at best, and their continued distortions , and inability to have civilized discourse belies a fundamental inability to discuss fact. Their failed attempts at stinging words together is laughable, and pitiable, truly. I do not even waste my time, but their posts sure are entertaining, kind of like the Joker. You only respond to them because they agree with everything you say. Taking the easy way out so much for that education of yours.

From 1974 to 1977, Thomas was an Assistant Attorney General of Missouri- elected! Where did you graduate, any honors? What have you accomplished, old white woman? What the hell are you doing spewing facts in this chatroom? Trying to confuse people? Throwin' the ol' monkey wrench into the gears of Topix?

I already discussed many positive aspects of privatizing in earlier posts. If this were to happen to our educational system, do you believe that this would necessitate similar changes to other social programs which are funded? i.e. government grants for research, corporate stimulation, etc... In other words, the reevaluation of the public funding of schools may warrant closer scrutiny of other publicly funded institutions...Do you believe in the overhaul of the entire system?

Which one of Obama's close friends said this?
.The Honorable Elijah Muhammad teaches us that these same so-called American Negroes are God's long-lost people who are symbolically described in the Bible as the Lost Sheep or the Lost Tribe of Israel. We who are Muslims believe in God, we believe in his scriptures, we believe in prophecy. Nowhere in the scriptures did god ever integrate his enslaved people with their slave masters. God always separates his oppressed people form their oppressor and then destroys the oppressor. God has never deviated from his divine pattern in the past and The Honorable Elijah Muhammad says that God will not deviate from that divine pattern today. Just as God destroyed the enslavers in the past, God is going to destroy this wicked white enslaver of our people here in America.

Some wise person said,'there is on born every minute', might as well try to profit off if like rush, mann coulter, o'liar and banalty. Too bad I have ethics. There is a lot of money in being a black republican, might even get appointed as a token to a plum position. Of course these same republicans will not elect a national lawmaker like Sen. Obama and Rep. Jackson. Intelligent people respect different opinions, and are capable of calm discourse and rational exchange of ideas, whether or not there is agreement. I do believe that we are at a stage where ideas are respected, regardless of race...Colin Powell was a very respected man who would have had the backing of powerful groups. But some of the sentiment here does reflect some of the small mindedness which permeates certain factions of society.

I know you want, or can't ans this because you only see racism on the white side. . The question is; Which one of Obama's close friends wrote this? God wants us to separate ourselves from this wicked white race here in America because this American House of Bondage is number one on God's list for divine destruction today. I repeat: This American House of Bondage is number one on God's list for divine destruction today. He warns us to remember Noah never taught integration, Noah taught separation; Moses never taught integration, Moses taught separation. The innocent must always be given a chance to separate themselves form the guilty before the guilty are executed. No one is more innocent that the poor, blind American so-called Negro who has been led astray by blind Negro leaders, and no one on earth is more guilty that the blue-eyed white man who has used his control and influence over the Negro leader to lead the rest of our people astray.

More false statements are being made about to whom I chose to respond. Many, many of my posts are to people with whom I do not necessarily agree, however whom I believe to be able to share information, whether or not there is agreement. These posters are able to have respectful disagreement, humorous dialogue, and the ability to share facts, and ideas, without the failed attempts at condescension.

Would you concider this racist? .The Honorable Elijah Muhammad teaches us that there is but one God whose proper name is Allah, and one religion, the religion of Islam, and that this one God will not rest until he has used his religion to establish one world-a universal, one-world brotherhood. But in order to set up his righteous world God must first bring down this wicked white world. The black revolution against the injustices of the white world is all part of God's divine plan. God must destroy the world of slavery and evil in order to establish a world based upon freedom, justice, and equality. The followers of The Honorable Elijah Muhammad religiously believe that we are living at the end of this wicked world, the world of colonialism, the world of slavery, the end of the Western world, the white world or the Christian world, or the end of the wicked white man's Western world of Christianity.

Yeah and your sentiments are reflective of the elitist attitude and idiocy rampant in this country. Do you have a point other than the one on top of your head?
