the dems are pretty stupid, but even they're not stupid enough to parade out"hanoi jane" with their opponent a former pow. I'm sure she's completely miffed about it, too.but, i bet she's working behind then scenes to free the "guantanamo 7".

Totally inaccurate. Moderate Republicans are useless towards any socio/political realignments. As far as any commentary on right wing psychos, that is a totally inclusive term. Criticisms of Kennedy as merely ideological are absurd. His ability to work with ideological opponents on a regular basis as attested to by people like Orrin Hatch and Arlen Specter (who incidentially came up with the pathetic theory of the magic bullet that was fired at his brother) are well documented. What should be acknowledged is his ability to completely disagree but maintain a respectable working relationship with those types who are more beholden to certain interests. This is the basis of the political hatred of the Kennedy's in that they are wealthy but ascribe to policies for the less advantaged; the real issue of Amerikan politics. It's not believable that you are a liberal and do not know this. By any standard, in my experience, a liberal has to reconcile these conflicts rather than accede to them. Either way Ted Kennedy is the standard bearer of liberalism over the last 40 years and to think that his presence at the convention is negative boggle my mind. I suspect fraud in your post.
good post,[for liberals] the rest of us just can't get that vision of poor mary jo gasping for air while teddy swam for help for 10 hours..

Why are they letting the Pop-n-fresh drunk from Ma. talk at the convention? We've seen enough of this drunk over the years. Matter of fact we've seen enough of the whole family, except for Caroline. Why dosen't he just fade into the sunset and not make himself look like a fool AGAIN. Go back and diddle with Kerry.

America will not be so remiss with the obama terrorists. The only gating factor will be managing the lottery among the competing townships for the honor.

'barry hussein soetoro/Biden '08! A small weak frail gay muslim, leading a ragtag group of terrorists, crimminals and fat over-dressed convention goers in $3 hats to the biggest defeat since dukakis bentsen

You are not one of those who have bothered to look into the tragedy of that incident but the reality, while not flattering to Kennedy is not criminal. It did however finish political aspirations which for most Ameikans has been unfortunate. When you fly high sometimes you fall hard.
Once again, one individual is not worth Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan and the Bush family parisites.

The real question is, how can we get the Kennedy the Cape Cod Orca, Nancy Stretch Pelosi and Harry The Body Reid to go on a hunting trip with **** Cheney?!
Tell me you wouldn't pay good money for that!! LOL!!!!!
Only you would go on a hunting trip with cheney. I mean a canned hunting trip, the idea that this greaseball would ever venture into a forest or grassland more than 10 feet from a wet bar are ridiculous. The moron shot someone 10 feet away. This is not a hunter or really much of anything.

Think about this...

John McCain (a 72 year old sick guy) has chosen to be one heartbeat away from the presidency...

A right-wing religious conservative with no foreign policy experience, who until recently was mayor of a town of 9,000 people.

Huh?

Who is Sarah Palin?

Here's some basic background:

* She was elected Alaska's governor a little over a year and a half ago. Her previous office was mayor of Wasilla, a small town outside Anchorage.

* Palin is strongly anti-choice, opposing abortion even in the case of rape or incest.

* She supported right-wing extremist Pat Buchanan for president in 2000.

* Palin thinks creationism should be taught in public schools.

* She's doesn't think humans are the cause of climate change.

* She's solidly in line with John McCain's "Big Oil first" energy policy. She's pushed hard for more oil drilling and says renewables won't be ready for years. She also sued the Bush administration for listing polar bears as an endangered species—she was worried it would interfere with more oil drilling in Alaska.

This is information the American people need to see.

Thanks to Ted Kennedy, the halls of Congress were the first major U.S. building to go completely non-smoking back in the 70's. With him in the area, it was too dangerous to light up. The ferker was more flammable than a 747!

Interesting. anyone got stats on how many people have died in "smoking in cars" accidents? Poor obama, if elected, he'll have to stand outside his own house to light one up.
