George Packer: Barack Obama vs. Mitt Romney, an uninspiring race.

May 7, 2012 | Posted by: Mr_Bill | Full story: www.newyorker.com

Nothing of the original Romney will be left but the hair

Face it: the general-election campaign is under way. Rick Santorum has disappeared, and Newt Gingrich is still politically dead.

With the Republican nomination wrapped up, Mitt Romney has dropped the severe conservatism, stopped denouncing the children of illegal immigrants, and started claiming authorship of the auto-bailout plan, which he had formerly dismissed as a goodbye kiss to the industry. By Election Day, he will have replaced so many parts so many times that nothing of the original Romney will be left but the hair.

Let kill the messanger, before the people
wise up and know they have given their country
and lives over to a man we are just finding
out who he is and what he want to do... When
your lives are changed from what they were, stop
your crying and blame, its all resting on your
shoulders.....Pay for it.....Stupid is as stupid
DOES!! China or Russia will straighten you up. Think about it.

Both Romney and Obama are prowar mongers and supporters of global war speculators.
And these bailouts for chefs of auto-corporations and other corporations are not good idea. Do you really think that it saves auto-companies? It has not. It has saved megasalaries of greedy and corrupted chefs of these companies. And how long can usual tax payers support pockets of corrupted, greedy, criminal fakes, who rule with all these companies? It is another way. Just like for instance Dr Ron Paul proposes: to auction it off, to find new owner for instance a little bit state or states and private businessmen and partially usual people- middle class, who could buy shares. It is better way than to save salaries of people, who steal and ruin. Bailouts are no solutions just like eternal wars are no solutions.
Only Ron Paul knows it and he knows how to change it. He is the only chance for USA.

This is the most uninspiring choice of candidates I have seen in my lifetime! Both are corporatist who will serve their masters not the people. It really makes no difference who wins anymore. Nothing will change and anyone that thinks either of these morons will actually change things for the better is dreaming.

This News of course is VERBOTTON in that RAG,The Very thought That Their DOG EATING INCOMPETENT is GOING SOON .makes them get the SHITS!...as witnessed by reality!!

French President Nicolas Sarkozy's defeat could be a bad omen for President Barack Obama.

Sarkozy on Sunday joined a growing list of leaders swept aside by Europe's economic crisis or by austerity measures hated by voters. Some 11 have now fallen, including Italy's Silvio Berlusconi and Spain's Jose Louis Rodriguez Zapatero.

Sure, many European economies are in worse shape than the U.S. But there are some similarities, including broad voter skepticism on both sides of the Atlantic that government programs are doing much to spur growth or produce jobs.

Polls show most Americans still think the country remains in recession, even though it technically ended almost three years ago. They also show Republican Mitt Romney leading Obama on handling economic issues.

That's not good for Obama, with the economy still the No. 1 election issue.

ITS THE ECONOMY STUPID!!

Ron Paul Wins Big in Nevada, Maine:“The Entire Establishment Should Be Embarrassed”
May 7th, 2012 sv

Despite the media blackout, Ron Paul is still a leading candidate in the 2012 U.S. presidential election against President Barack Obama. On Sunday May 6 2012, the results out of Nevada and Maine marked a historical event in the history of presidential elections. He won overall 43 delegates in the two states, who he will be bringing to Tampa, Florida for the national convention. Ron Paul, who has run for president three times altogether, continues to de facto shape national debate and the coming presidential election.

It's not the race that's the problem. It's the aftermath. Either way we're pretty much screwed because the whole country's just a collapse waiting to happen.
