However, no one has found, nor did he ever state that his actions were motivated by religion. If that would have been his motivation, he would have strongly declared it. On the other hand, Muslim terrorists do their killing in the name of Allah. They clearly say so, they also say they are in a "Jihad" or Holy War against Christians and Jews. First off, to say times have changed in the past 60 years would be an understatement. The VP today can play as big a role in an administration as the President, like Cheney, if they choose. Second, we have a smart guy about to enter the white house for a change now. Obama was near top of his classes at Columbia and Harvard Law. Harvard Law Review Editor (highest honor you can achieve at law school). He was also a constitutional law professor at a top 10 law school for several years. We had a smart guy in office under Clinton, and our country was in pretty good shape. Then instead of the smart guy (Gore) the idiot evangelicals elected Bush. How do you think that worked out for us? Now some of you actually think McCain (graduated bottom of his class at Naval Academy) and PALIN!??!?!?(a journalism major from U of Idaho and a former Miss Alaska contestant????) is what America needs? However, we could hold the next discussion about those who blow up abortion clinics. Are they insane or crazy? With Mr. McVeigh I'm sure he was given a lengthy psychiatric evaluation to determine his frame of mind, the same as those who blew up abortion clinics. Are those Muslim extremists given the same evaluations? Most of them blow themselves up or kill themselves, so who is to say? Perhaps they are indeed crazy and in need of a high doze of psychotropic medication, but it is easier to blame it on the religion. BTW, you don't have to say 'Allah'. You can say God. Allah is simply the Arabic word for literally God. It would be like if you said 'amigo' instead of 'friend' in the middle of an English sentence, it isn't necessary. Take care.
