Corrupt mastermind or victim of frame-up?

Hey Trib, if there are any jurors who are hung-up or leaning toward a not guilty, don't forget to start checking criminal histories. Or at least just get the brown envelope from the government again.

Rezko became a slum landlord because the city allowed him. As a tenant, we only have the city to enforce codes and ordinances. Even with Senator Obama's office having offered to do congressional inquiries on my apartment, the city still got into corruption mode. They went off and looked at the apartment I left over one year ago. And then the city claimed the dishonest full of contradictions and lies 311 calls that I had made counted for the 2nd Obama building inquiry. No Obama building inspection happened for my apartment. Rezko got off as will every landlord because the city lets it happen. Doubt corruption with city blessing happens for free. So I ask again, why was Mayor Daley never mentioned in the hearing?

According to them he has no money so it isn't costing him anything. They will of course get a contract for legal service in Illinois after this trial ends. The Illinois way.

You know alot of people can figure out that obama is an american hating socialist without listening to Rush. You don't go to a church like rev wrights for 20 years without believing that crap.

I disagree. I think Sven's comment means "I and my wild and crazy brother went to the singles bar and picked up some loose women last night. We drank lots of vodka and then threw dog poop on their shoes."

Yea, that's a viable translation as well. Either way, the person does not have the marbles to speak his/her mind, if they have one.

I totally agree. Hire somebody that you can trust who is also dirty. If the shit hits the fan they can take the fall for you and be taken care of later. I wouldn't be surprised if all that drug use involving Levine was manufactured. This way the Feds look like they are doing their job, the star witness has character flaws, Rezko,(if found guilty at all) gets to do 2 years in a Federal country club, while probably getting kick backs for keeping his mouth shut!

Can we get this guy in prison already, so that we may concentrate on the almighty Todd Stroger before we all are living on lower Wacker? Then Blago, then Emil, then Daley. Move over George Ryan, you are going to have some company. It's high time these crooks remember it is not we that work for them, but the opposite.

Because he's a crook and guess who helped Obama by a multi million dollar home in Chicago for $300K. But of course Obama doesn't know him!

I think there is more here between Obama, Rezko, and Levine. I also think it's funny that every time Obama's name comes up in this case, he takes time away from his campaign to come to Chicago, and after the visit there isn't much in the media about the connections. Gimmie a break.

The first one I remember was Dan Rostenkowski. He had a home in Lake Geneva too. He spent something like 35 years in the House, when the indictment was coming down, he was in Lake Geneva, we had over 50 news stations there. I am just waiting for the same thing to happen to Todd Stroger...he has a family house outside of Lake Geneva a few miles. The Machine is in Chicago, but plays in Wisconsin or Michigan but not in their own state.
