I just saw this story. I had no idea Mel Ferrer had died until now, more than a week after the fact. I've seen many of his movies and also watched him on Falcon Crest. Plus, I wrote a letter to him once and received an autograph in return. I felt like at least one person should comment on his obit. A shame more users haven't.

Mel was so handsome and such a great entertainer. I just loved him in "Lilli". He brought joy to children in that film. I couldn't find it for years and just saw it on television. May he rest in peace.
