In 1957-58 my friend Leslie & I were in the 6th grade. We were quite mischieveous--actually most things were my idea. First we called Annette's aunt in Utica, NY from a pay phone. Then we hung posters in our school that we made in Saturday arts & crafts class saying Annette was coming to visit.

I wasn't born until 1960, Annette and my mother were the same age, but I do remember the reruns. Too me, Annette was both the most precious, as well as the most natural Mouseketter. When people think of the show, the first image is that precious, sweet looking, beautiful looking girl with a sweet smile. My heart and prayers go out to her and her family, she has touched the lives of many.

I don't question why God is keeping Annette here on earth, but I'm sure there is a lesson to be learned from it. I met Annette long ago, when she has just learned she had MS. She was so beautiful and down to earth. She told me I looked like Sally Field!!!
